Hook Honestly it's a brilliant movie, and still one of my all time favourite films. Why it got such a bad reception is a mystery to me.

Many critics only seem to give good reviews to extremely long and boring art movies these days. I loved Hook when I was a kid too.
wild wild west.
that fuckin' spider thing was tight as hell
With films like Wild Wild West, I always think reviewers miss the point. I loved the whole Steampunk theme. I'll go for Army of Darkness. Sam Raimi and Bruce Cambell wanted Ash to be badass after all the bad things he went through, and they did it!
I don't mean to be ripping off TheUnDeadGod's thread, but it gave me this idea. My few: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen The Thing Predator Day of the Dead The Mist
All of those except Day of the Dead. Too much of a teen scare for me.

There was one film a while back, Lost In Space? I think that was what it was called. I liked it, as did my brother, but loads of review sites trashed it.
It doesn't hold a special place in my heart, but my friend and I had a great time with The Spirit.
Terminator 3 was shite but got great reviews that count?

Law Abiding Citizen :buddy:
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen The Thing Predator Day of the Dead The Mist
What day of the dead is that? The original or the 2008 remake? Becuase the original was amazing, if critics said it was shit they can go to hell. Also i'd have to say snakes on a plane, it's cheesy and i can't help but love it.
Fight Club When it came out it got some pretty bad reviews. But i'll always love it <3
I remember watching the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with my family, loving it, then being completely surprised with the reviews. IMO, at least, the movie was great, but I dunno.
Pretty much every movie in existence because professional critics do not know to how to enjoy a movie.
Snakes on a plane Scooby Doo League of extraordinary gentlemen Digimon the movie ( i'm unsure if it was panned though, wikipedia doesn't say) Pokemon the first movie Kung Pow
Snakes on a plane Scooby Doo League of extraordinary gentlemen Digimon the movie ( i'm unsure if it was panned though, wikipedia doesn't say) Pokemon the first movie Kung Pow
Snakes on a plane is so fucking awful dude. The only good thing about it was Samuel L. Jackson yelling "I've had it, with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane!"
The Boat That Rocked. Critics thought it was average, I loved it to bits. Great soundtrack too.
Oh so much this. Fucking loved that film.
Scooby Doo (the live action one where Scrappy was the villain). It was fucking awesome back then and is probably still is now.
probably the only live action scooby doo movie worth watching
OH, I forgot to mention Shooter. That movie again was fairly cheesy and did nothing ground breaking, but damn, it was pretty badass.
Superman 2, never will forget the greatness of that movie
Superman 2, never will forget the greatness of that movie
With all its S-logo hologram knocking you down and that.
Short Circuit. Live on Johnny 5, live on...
Just visiting
Snakes on a plane is so fucking awful dude. The only good thing about it was Samuel L. Jackson yelling "I've had it, with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane!"
That`s why it has a speacial place in my heart.
Snakes on a Plane was so bad it's good, and I think they were aware of that too, some parts seemed intentionally lame.
I think the producers trolled the audience. That's what I just felt.
Equilibrium, I loved that movie.
