With all its S-logo hologram knocking you down and that.
hell yes but there are now 2 versions of the movie by 2 different directors one full of cheese and one which is superb for the times queer that one director got fired mid film
Equilibrium, I loved that movie.
THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiIIIIIS
Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. They were both mercilessly hilarious, and there were some parts that were pure gold.
What day of the dead is that? The original or the 2008 remake? Becuase the original was amazing, if critics said it was shit they can go to hell. Also i'd have to say snakes on a plane, it's cheesy and i can't help but love it.
I think you're thinking about Dawn of the Dead, not Day of the Dead. Also, "Dude, where's my car?" still holds a special place in my heart. [editline]08:52PM[/editline] Nevermind, I forgot Romero also made a Day of the Dead.
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Yes, as adaptations go, it was pretty shit. The comic was better. However, it was the first time I'd ever been introduced to steampunk, and it was fucking awesome.
Everyone, critics included seem to have a special place in their heart for hating Roland Emmerich. I love a lot of his films.
wild wild west.
Fuckin' ah. I loved that movie! :D Also, Click. Why does nobody like it? :(
For me, Sahara and National Treasure. Again, nothing ground breaking, but goddamn, they're just a good ol' fashioned adventure films, the type you loved as a kid and still do as an adult. And you know what, I'm going to throw Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade in with that as well, even though its reviews were mostly positive.
Godzilla. I believe it got a lot of bad reviews, but I still think it's awesome. The US version that is.
Kung Pow enter the fist
One of my favorite movies of all time.
Hoodwinked
Scooby Doo (the live action one where Scrappy was the villain). It was fucking awesome back then and is probably still is now.
That and the 2nd one are pure gold compared to this shit fest typically sponsored by Cartoon Network. bwah what is fred? that is not fred. Come on Cartoon Network. Every other character resembles their original cartoon selves. Why is Fred the exception?
Daphne looks like an old geezer in the movie tbh. The original movies were so much better at making people look like the character. Even Scooby Doo looks better in the old movies, which were made in 2002, compared to what the one in the shitty CN one, which was made in 2009. [editline]12:00AM[/editline] Also: Apparently this movie got generally bad reviews. This the only movie I laugh to every single time I watch it. Even years after I first watched it.
That got bad reviews?!
Critics = Bad acting, Boring action and overall bad movie Others = Fucking badass movie!
Silent Hill This is one of the best video game movie ever and critics hated.
I loved Miss March, even though it was called one of the worst movies of 2009, I think.
Watchmen, yeah that's right I said it. This one is half n' half but The Lost World: Jurassic Park, I can see how it is a bit been there done that, but it's just fun to watch, what is truly been there done that is jp 3, ugggh I hate that movie
Daybreakers. [editline]08:26PM[/editline] And watchmen.
Daybreakers was good, I wasn't expecting that, It felt uh fresh, back to badass vampires right after twilight.
Daybreakers was good, I wasn't expecting that, It felt uh fresh, back to badass vampires right after twilight.
Exploding vampires :c00lbert:
I didn't know Watchmen got bad reviews. I watched it two days ago, and I loved it. Then again, I'm not a movie critic.
Loved Silent Hill the movie.
Batman and Robin. I think this movie falls into the so bad its good category.
Everyone, critics included seem to have a special place in their heart for hating Roland Emmerich. I love a lot of his films.
The Patriot was pretty good and it got good reviews, but that might have been because Emmerich got a good screenplay.
I don't mean to be ripping off TheUnDeadGod's thread, but it gave me this idea. My few: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen The Thing
I like those!
Godzilla. I believe it got a lot of bad reviews, but I still think it's awesome. The US version that is.
as I believe has been said before, it's a great monster movie in it's own right. it's just not a good Godzilla movie. but on that subject, the Godzilla series in general holds a special place in my heart, despite their overflow of cheeseyness, special effects failures, and bad dubbing.
In a nutshell: Most if not all sci-fi flicks that people criticise for not being realistic or having inconsistencies. I love a good story but I also want to watch shit getting blown up. These Include: Core Time Machine Sunshine 2012 The Day After Tomorrow etc Sometimes I do enjoy a movie with good special effects to cater to the kid side of me that loves to see stuff getting blown up and destroyed in any epic ways.
If you want to watch things blow up go to a pyrotechnics show or surf on youtube. Films need a bit more things than explosions to be good.
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I agree with a lot of these films. Fight Club was a big favorite(I forgot it had bad reviews). Watchmen was another. I'm not sure, but did anyone put Grindhouse? That's another good one.
