img tags are so overrated.
[QUOTE=rikimaru6811;35790616]Just get rid of the "www." then imgur will work.[/QUOTE]
This. Instead of [url]www.facepunch.com[/url], use facepunch.com

Mars looks pretty flat.

1 photo of a plain on mars must mean the entire planet is flat?

It's actually pretty mountainous.

Not relatively old or huge but...
For those of you who don’t live in Boston, someone spray painted ”Kony 2012” on a memorial to the victims of the Boston Massacre.
Social activism at its finest.

Unique as it is believed that this is an early example of a doctored photograph used as propaganda by Stalin.

If I remember the story correctly a journalist was walking back to a red cross camp.
He came across the kid and took the picture, he then kept walking, shortly after receiving a
prize for the picture he committed suicide.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, he committed suicide because people kept on questioning his motives on why he didn't help the girl. He said that there was a camp that was just outside of the camera's frame. There was a movie on the story of him and a few other South-African photographers during the Apartheid era. It's called The Bang Bang Club. It's not very long, but I think it was pretty good.

I watched the documentary on the whole thing. The ex-guards that were interviewed said that when they first arrived they were shocked at how they were treating the inmates but over time the abuse of the prisoners was so normal to them that they began to join in as well. To me they seemed like there were bullied around when they were young and became mad with power or something.

Lenin looked weird, like. Not just because the pictures are super old, but his general shape too.

I watched the documentary too, all the guards except the ones who did something to stop it seemed to be justifying what they did instead of feeling bad or apolagetic.

You'd be feeling awful smug if you had created the world's first Communist state.
