If you're getting used to seeing dead people, I'd recommend you to take a break from this thread.
Not a single picture in this thread have grossed me out, neither kittens or mass suicides or just messy spots from jumpers or burning bodies. Am I a freak? Not really, I've just become immune from being on the internet for this long, I guess. Like, I've seen videos of people blowing their brains out, I've seen people slaughtering other people with chainsaws and knives and guns and still, haven't been very affected at all. Sure, it's all sad, but I don't really react the way lots of people do. Anyways, I shall stop derailing this thread now, and I apologize for not having any content at this moment!

He would often feign being drunk or suchlike in the middle of his acts. Fantastic performer, though:

Budd Dwyer's suicide on live television:
In the early 1980s, Pennsylvania discovered its state workers had overpaid federal taxes due to errors in state withholding. Many accounting firms competed for a multimillion-dollar contract to determine compensation to each employee. In 1986, Dwyer was convicted of receiving a bribe from a California firm trying to gain the contract. Throughout his trial and after his conviction, he maintained that he was innocent of the charge and that he had been framed. On the morning of January 22, 1987, he committed suicide with a gun during a televised press conference at his office in Harrisburg, the state capital.
Towards the middle of his Wikipedia page you can read more about the public suicide and the speech that he made. I thought about posting it, but I didn't want to stretch the page out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R._Budd_Dwyer
I saw the video, surprising how much blood can come out of a mans head NSFW If you really want to see it: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=8ae_1332963163 Don't click it if you have a weak stomach
I tried to find the video... got some stupid thing about candy bars and what people would do to get one.
God damn you can see the guys intestines. How far did they torture the guy before finally killing him.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omaha_Race_Riot_of_1919
Will Brown had been captured. A few minutes more and his lifeless body was hanging from a telephone post at Eighteenth and Harney Streets. Hundreds of revolvers and shotguns were fired at the corpse as it dangled in mid-air. Then, the rope was cut. Brown's body was tied to the rear end of an automobile. It was dragged through the streets to Seventeenth and Dodge Streets, four blocks away. The oil from red lanterns used as danger signals for street repairs was poured on the corpse. It was burned. Members of the mob hauled the charred remains through the business district for several hours. Sheriff Clark said that Negro prisoners hurled Brown into the hands of the mob as its leaders approached the stairway leading to the county jail. Newspapers have quoted alleged leaders of the mob as saying that Brown was shoved at them through a blinding smoke by persons whom they could not see.
Its amazing to realize that this happened less then 100 years ago. surprised there wasn't blood spatter on the wall behind him. Maybe it hit the ceiling out of shot.
Tacoma bridge collapse in November 1940: I find the video particularly impressive.
I heard that there was one car one the bridge but the owner ran out of it when the bridge started wobbling but he left his dog in the car so the dog was the only casualty of the bridge collapse.
Just as I drove past the towers, the bridge began to sway violently from side to side. Before I realized it, the tilt became so violent that I lost control of the car...I jammed on the brakes and got out, only to be thrown onto my face against the curb...Around me I could hear concrete cracking...The car itself began to slide from side to side of the roadway. On hands and knees most of the time, I crawled 500 yards (460 m) or more to the towers...My breath was coming in gasps; my knees were raw and bleeding, my hands bruised and swollen from gripping the concrete curb...Toward the last, I risked rising to my feet and running a few yards at a time...Safely back at the toll plaza, I saw the bridge in its final collapse and saw my car plunge into the Narrows.
