It saddens me that they place Justin Bieber next to such great actors.
Eh, they have Megan Fox in there too. She's only in there because she's popular.
Jack Nicholson, you magnificent bastard, he's in there up right from Harrison Ford.

Where is Will Smith?

It saddens me that they place Justin Bieber next to such great actors.

It's like every single person from the new star trek movie is in there for some reason

Eh, they have Megan Fox in there too. Bieber is there because made his own movie.
I like how they seemed to put certain actors next to people they worked with. Steven Speilberg is next to Harrison Ford. Brad Pitt is next to David Fincher and Sean Penn. Robert Downey Jr. is next to Jon Favreau. Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg are both near Martin Scorcese. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are relatively close to Simon Pegg, and so on...
To be honest, most of the photos are American-based. Some of the backstories of these American based photos such as the American Segregation Laws and Vietnam, just show the horrific actions America has done. Why does America have quiet a lot of significant history which show America's decision as stupid/horrifying (Jim Crow Laws, Atomic Bombs on Japan), yet the citizens are still proud of their nation?

Clint Eastwood should be there.

Quotes such as "America, fuck yeah", "the American dream" and "God bless America" suggests this. You'd be surprised how much propaganda there is in American media like movies, news, music and especially video games.

It must be just me but I love old pictures of the Appalachian people. A kind of mystery to see these people and wonder who these people were, where they lived, and what they did every day. What's the story behind that?
What's the story behind that?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Whitrick
What's the story behind that?

Suicide On the day of his death, Kevin Whitrick was in a chatroom on PalTalk and was joined by about 60 other users in a special "insult" chatroom where people "have a go at each other". He stood on a chair, punched a hole in his ceiling and placed a rope around a joist, and then tied the other end around his neck, then stepped off the chair. Some people thought this was a prank, until his face started turning blue. Some people in the chat room egged him on while others tried desperately to find his address. A member in the room contacted the police, who arrived at the scene two minutes later. Kevin Whitrick was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m. GMT. Aftermath The death has been reported in the press and is notable due to fear it might inspire other suicides, the possibility of the webcam footage being made available on the internet, and discussions over the culpability of web users who encouraged the man. The police detectives traced about 100 chatroom users to question them about their role in the cyber suicide. The Crown Prosecution Service has stated that none of the chatroom users will face criminal charges.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Whitrick

Did he do it because the insults got to him or something or did he plan it because there was a lot of people?
The thing I find slightly sad is that as soon as someone hanged themselves of a chatroom, someone's first reaction is to take a screenshot of it rather than call the police. But whatever, even if he did call the police straight away, as someone else did, he couldn't have been resuscitated.

If you're concerned about that stuff, you should be criticizing the countries that have done more evil than America.

Why does America have quiet a lot of significant history which show America's decision as stupid/horrifying (Jim Crow Laws, Atomic Bombs on Japan), yet the citizens are still proud of their nation?
Wow yeah lets just ignore the fact that America, in its 236 year history has profoundly changed the modern world, established a world-changing form of government, served as a sanctuary for millions of people who would have other wise been persecuted/killed in their home nations, inspired the Constitutions of 160 nations, been the land of opportunity where determined citizens can go from "rags to riches" and has long been the #1 nation for innovation and accounts for one-third of all international patent filings, whose citizens have invented world changing devices, like the internet you are now on (courtesy of DARPA), and by the way 90% of the worlds PC's run software (Windows) designed in America. America, whose military might has won great victories and come to the aid of allies who would have otherwise fought on alone (and in some cases lost without our aid), who was the first to land on the moon and continues to lead the world in feats of extraterrestrial exploration, who is the home of the first privately launched spacecraft, who gives more in developmental aid to foreign countries than any nation in the world (almost 3x the second place nation, the UK), whose workers (on average) earn more than the average worker in any European nation, who is the home of many leading corporations including Walmart (the worlds largest private employer) and is home to 18 of the 50 largest companies in the world, whose debt-to-GDP ratio is smaller than the UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, and France, who is the home of 6 of the world's top ten universities, and who's population growth rate is higher than Russia, China, Europe, and Japan. So yeah, I'm proud. Every nation has its sins. America shows its dirty laundry and doesn't give a shit. That's part of what it means to be a free and open society. You let people look back on the past and say "Wow, that was bullshit". We don't try to rewrite it, or cover it up. But to dwell on the nations past, and hate your nation for it is a grave mistake. If you want to argue about this post a thread in Mass Debate.
whose debt-to-GDP ratio is smaller than Australia,
HAHAHA, What? Australia is sitting on a nice 22% where as the USA is on a whopping 62% Nothing compared to the 225% that Japan has, but don't blow your bullshit over my screen.
