Gonna be topical here: First image by the Curiosity Rover upon touching down on mars not five minutes ago. This is the "hi-def" version.
What event was this picture taken from?
That's true determination, to be able to sit there burning alive and not move a muscle. Disturbing but interesting...

Explanation on that one?
Explanation on that one?
Its the NASA crews celebrating after Curiosity landed
cultists
If I remember correctly, quite a few were forced to drink the poison. Not all of them did it out of "because we're cultists".
I love the mars rover, and was overjoyed when i heard it landed. But can they really not get HD, colour pics? I mean surely it just takes a bit longer to stream all the bits.

Picture of MSL (curosity) from the Mars Recon Orbiter
These curiosity photos aren't really world shattering. We've put probes on Mars 4 times or so before, and tried even more than that. Wait until Man walks on Mars. The first human to set foot on another planet besides his home. That. Will be world shaking
Uhmmmmm...
Yeah, Sally Ride wasn't aboard that day. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] I am Captain Obvious.
Yeah, Sally Ride wasn't aboard that day. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] I am Captain Obvious.
Sally Ride wasn't the first female astronaut. She was (supposed) to be the first teacher in space I believe. The first Female Astronaut was a soviet like 30 years earlier.
Uhmmmmm...
shit fixed, dunno what i was thinking at the moment
Explanation on that one?
Mission control after the rover successfully touched on mars
One of the people who died on challenger was going to be the first non-government civilian in space. I think that's what he was thinking of.
If I remember correctly, quite a few were forced to drink the poison. Not all of them did it out of "because we're cultists".
That is true, pretty much all of the children were forced to drink it or weren't told that it was poisoned.
Also the only survivor of the mass "suicide" was an old woman who had hidden under her bed.
No, there was more than one survivor.
Yeah, there were quite a few. In a video I watched in RS alone there were at least four survivors.
Jesus fucking christ. If you wish to retain your sanity, never visit bestgore.com. It's a whole collection of photos, goryn shit. Mutilated vaginas, even what looks like a huge ass block of warts hanging out of a vagina, guy stabbing a knife into his penis which is down on a table, so many autoerotic asphyxiation photos, necrophilia, electrocutions, smashed open bodies. Where the fuck do they get these pictures? The most horrifying one is by far some body all smashed along a wall, blood, intestines, organs , brains , smashed eyeball and one intact eyeball all over the wall and the scalp with hair on it. God i almost vomited, worse than pain olympics.
there are too many things in this world that i often find myself asking why. why this
