Bumping this back to the first page
More like "The day a rock star acted like a cry baby"
I'm sure you'd be pissed if your time got cut in half
No DOUBT the most famous scene in movie history.
I've never really thought about what scene or movie I'd consider to be the most famous. But if I was asked it, I'd probably say James Camerons Titanic movie had quite a lot of ground shattering scenes, particularly towards the end. Obviously that's talking about scenes from a more modern (1997) movie.
I'm sure you'd be pissed if your time got cut in half
I'd be pissed, but I wouldn't act like a fucking child about it. If he doesn't want his set cut in half, he shouldn't play at an over glorified iphone app concert.
This may take me a while, but when my dad was in the Navy, he snapped a photo of a Soviet battleship. You guys want to see it? Since the USSR doesn't exist any more, it's declassified. I have no clue where it went, so it'll take a bit.
go ahead and post it.
It's a movie but still
As someone who's never seen/heard of this before, I'm assuming this is Buzz Aldrin's reaction to a Moon Landing conspiracy theorist?
Good guess. The guy's name is Bart Sibrel. This doesn't show the build-up of him following buzz for about 5 minutes. It also doesn't show is how "badly he was hurt": He turned to the camera and instantly asked "Did you get that?" When he tried to charge Buzz with assault, it got thrown out when they saw the footage, as it showed that he was the aggressor. He's one of the weirdest of the high-profile moon-conspiracy nuts.
This guy: [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] 4:55 "Prayer sermon held on Iraqi TV says Iraq could withstand an attack by the U.S" heh
I have a strange request for the thread. I'm supposed to be doing posters for a lecture as part of 'Black History Month'. Post some profound images that can be put up in a school! - I have no idea of what might be a good idea.

Photos taken by Timothy O’Sullivan, a famous Civil War photographer that captured the scenes at Gettysburg took pictures of Ulysses S. Grant and his general staff. On his left Assistant Secretary of War Charles A. Dana. George Meade is one of the many officers seated at the pews.
These Civil War era photos remind me, has this been posted yet?

Apparently the people being hung were apart of the Lincoln assassination.

I know it's about famous photographs, but hopefully one I took in Hiroshima will suffice. That's the shade of a man, who was waiting outside the bank when the bomb dropped. The heat scorched him into the stone and his shade is still there today. Sorry if this doesn't fit in but I thought some here might be interested.
Is the man burnt into the stone, or did the man protect the stone from some of the rays, making it darker?
His ash fell upon the stone which would have been super heated, so it would have absorbed some of the carbon in his ash and been made darker.
Wow that's crazy. Nukes are terrifying.

I was just about to post this.
Hey wait, I've just realised. It looks like you can see the curvature of the Earth in this picture. Are those few remaining idiotic people maybe going to finally start believing that the Earth is a sphere, or are they going to think that NASA photoshopped this one too or something?
