probably a real dumb question, but is there any radiation left in Hiroshima today?
No, not more than natural radiation anywhere in the world. Radiation levels fell very quickly, a man who stood in the epicenter 24h after the blast would only recieve 1000th of what a man would recieve when the bomb exploded.
Most of the residual radiation didn't stick since the bomb exploded more than 500 meters above streetlevel (to cause maximum destruction), it went up with the cloud instead of embedding itself in soil, water etc. Most of the radionuclides had very brief half-lives, some only lasted a couple of minutes.
So no, not from the bomb atleast ;)

Magazine from the USS Airzona detonates. The force of the explosion extinguished all the fires from the adjacent ship it was moored to.

It would need an insanely long runway to land and take off on, and consume a shit load of fuel.

British soldiers pose for a group photo by a ruined bridge that led through the Hindenburg Line. This was the first time the line has been broken since the beginning of WW1 and the deepest the Allies have pushed into enemy territory in the whole war.
Technically, wouldn't it be Burma?
Taiwan, or formally known as the Republic of China. And Burma is the name Myanmar used to have before the military dictatorship changed it, legally it's Myanmar.

That's why we're arguing. We can't tell if it's the taiwanese flag or the burmese (myanmarese?) flag because they're so similar.
Personally I think it looks like the taiwanese flag. The star looks too full and bold to be burmese.

Ah, sorry. I was trying to say that I thought it looked more like the Taiwanese flag than the Burmese. Thought wasn't fully formed in type.
