Why didn't he just sock the turd right in his big dumb mug?
Because he didn't want an assault charge or to be thrown out of the con? Cons generally run 50-75 bucks for the pass and then a hundred or 2 for hotel stay, not worth throwing that stuff away because some weirdo. Not to mention it looks like that costume cost a decent amount to make.
back in 2011 I attended a con and was stalked by a couple of weeb tweenagers who kept stroking my arm whenever they got close, while chanting some japanese name? I was dressed up as Rattmann from the Portal 2 comic at the time. they must have thought I was cosplaying a teacher from an anime of some sorts. it was creepy.
If some nerd randomly hugged me, I'd punch their glasses right off their neckbeard face, and everyone else should do the same.
That looks like my old friend from high school He had a weird obsession with foxes and was always creepy like that.
That looks like my old friend from high school He had a weird obsession with foxes and was always creepy like that.
look him up on facebook, it might be him if its him, name 'n shame
look him up on facebook, it might be him if its him, name 'n shame
If you're implying putting his info here, than I have to disagree with that. If it is him, then go tell him to stop being such a faggot or something. Putting his info here isn't going to do anything except for one creepy nerd being harassed by a bunch of other nerds.
look him up on facebook, it might be him if its him, name 'n shame
Yeah because doxxing TOTALLY Doesn't make you a creeper!
I went to Magfest and a crazy guy asked me if I was there for a Touhou orgy. I thought it was a joke. Next day Saturday I went to the elevators thinking it was a shortcut, got myself lost at the hotel wing over at the floor. It wasn't a joke.
wait, is the person on drugs?
wait, is the person on drugs?
Fuck if I know, although they did think I was an undercover cop.

Was [sp]Momiji a good doggie?[/sp]
Surprisingly, I never had any "weird" interactions at the few cons I've been too. Except for this one time I dressed as a maid and entered into a cosplay contest and one of the judges who was taking names and stuff behind the curtain came up to me and it took her a minute to realize I wasn't actually a girl.
wait, is the person on drugs?
Speaking of drugs. Someone actually snuck drugs into the orgy about 2-3 hours ago from the time I got lost on the hotel floor. At that time the cops actually cleared out the room!
From the answers I've gotten from friends and other people I've hung out with at cons, seems to me that the less clothing you wear and the more female you are, the more weirdos you attract. Cons bring in a lot of socially inept people, but I've also met tons of cool people there. The con-going crowd consists of all kinds of people, even if the weirdos are more common than an average public outing elsewhere. Cons are fun, though. Especially the really big ones. Even if the events aren't great, the costumes are beyond interesting and diverse. (Also StreetPass.) I mostly go to hang out with distant friends, though.
Yeah because doxxing TOTALLY Doesn't make you a creeper!
And totally won't give you a lifetime vacation in the refugee camp with the only faint chance of returning is being one of the the chosen few on Garry's birthday.
I went to a con once and i got a pic with a guy in a fedora and gasmask, you can't tell in the pic but he hoverhanded me to this day i feel his hand hovering over my shoulder
"you've got a big mouth" ew

[editline]7th February 2015[/editline]
Who was your favorite Touhou? Was [sp]Momiji a good doggie?[/sp]
Please don't remind me of that Momiji video
Please don't remind me of that Momiji video
Well now I'm curious.
hey you like GeeK culture too? Cool! That totally gives me the right to violate you as a person and void all preconceptions of basic human interaction decency!
I frequently volunteer at a Expo here in Canada and don't get me wrong i love the gig as it really fun to make new friends and give people a hi five for a well done cosplay, but the first time I was volunteering a girl i was talking with noticed that i got nervous around Furries and asked what was up, so i told her i had a fear of anamophic suits. Hearing that she gives me some weird smile and goes off somewhere and I "shit you not" next thing I know i have a entire damn army of them in front of me and the girl saying they're not that bad and i suppose they told them this as they converged on me, que the sweaty horrible smelling suit hugs i was bombarded with. Neadless to say i needed to take a break for the day. [editline]7th February 2015[/editline] Respect peoples bubbles guys unless they say its okay for a hug, I dont know how many times I've had to call security because someone took it too far. I actually had a homestuck group push someone down the stairs because this girl was dressed up as a character from sweet bro and hella jeff, i was fucking appalled.

I've been to Phoenix Comicon like twice but I've never seen anything too out of the ordinary. It always seemed pretty down to earth, just fun dressing up and shit. I've heard a lot of stories and it's just disgusting. I didnt dress up the first time, barely dressed up the second time (just a black cloak and gloves, got a few comments). Speaking of terrible people who like Homestuck, I remember hearing a story of someone just throwing a bucket or some shit at someone's head, literally making them bleed. I can't imagine witnessing any of that shit, I'd be fucking mad as shit. Who the fuck just pushes someone they don't know down a flight of stairs???? And if someone tried to hug me out of nowhere or touch me, I'd shove them right off. That's not a thing you do, jesus christ. If someone started feeling me or rubbing my arm? I wouldn't even KNOW what to do. That's so weird, and actually kind of scary. I'd probably be kind of panicking in your situation, IceBlizzerd. This is pretty much why I'm never going to a con again. That, and it's kind of boring for me.

I'm one to loosen up a little at cons but you don't fuck with someone like that.
That is fucking horrible. Geezus. People have no concept of personal space. A friend of mine does the hardcore Star Wars costuming, he told me that when they have Leia (specifically the slave costume) they always keep at least two guys with her just because people are fucking creepy
I was in a con with Psyduck kigurumi costume once and I never had any awkward creeps hugging me or telling even creepier things. Just a lot of (I think 12 or so) people coming over and saying "Can I hug you?" which I welcomed with open arms quite literally with a few "Can I take a picture of you?" requests too. Hell, I even got a brofist from Scout cosplayer and asked to put my name on what I assumed was a list of pokemon cosplayers in that con. And by two girls in Mudkip kigurumis (one of them Shiny version) nonetheless. Though the fact I was ~180cm at the time might've driven some people off. Giant Psyduck? Run for cover!

I've been to Megacon twice and never saw any Touhou cosplays. I was really disappointed both times. I saw a few merchandise, but not much.
