Every con I've been to I've worn this close faced motorcycle helmet with a visor so blackend it is impossible to see my face. Not a single person has ever knocked on my helmet or been an ass about it

I said not all of them are 11yo girls. There are a few characters like that, that are "11yo girls" which happen to be a vampire and some other one I don't know about that's probably a demon. Some of them are literally fairies and the other characters are definitely not 11yo olds. I's a fantasy shmup game about Japanese monsters and Shrine Maidens.

This con i went to a couple years ago I met a couple dressed as Judge Dredd and Anderson, it was near perfect the two of them and i sat and had a tea with them. Cool people. Later heard one of those homestuck jerks hit the Dredd in the head with something and gave him a huge concussion and shattering his hand made helm.

Honestly its people like us that need to go and try and make it the best we can, if there's nothing but negative views and people jumping ship because of this there's a steep drop in people that can make things better for all the new kids popping in.
I saw a kid that made a Dalek out of 2 trash cans for the body, a painted plunger and a paintroller and was super proud of it and we all got pictures with him, its stuff like that that really put the fire in me to come back, those moments where you get a laugh and see a smile because people are having fun and enjoying their inner nerd and the people around them.

I like FNAF, but holy shit I wouldn't want to say that in public, let alone dress like a character from it, because of how fucking weird the fanbase is now. I feel bad for that person in the video because that's actually a neat costume they made, such a shame it had to happen to them. All it takes is one bad experience to taint something for someone.
