I agree with this statement.
It just felt like a damn play to me more than a movie.
There was hardly any action, but the only good action was near the end where [sp]they kill Hitler[/sp]. Then again, that was half assed. Then there was a shit ton of dialogue.
4/10
The dialogue is what makes the movie so great, you fool.
It's incredibly well written and builds up tension throughout the movie.
Do you think the bar scene would be as great if that British bloke blew his cover after a minute or so? No, of course not.
The scene where the German soldiers asked him about his accent was intense, man. No amount of explosions or gore can match that.
After that the tension skyrocketed until the big finale where the tiniest detail blew his cover, resulting in a very brief, yet incredibly satisfying moment of "action"-action.
When I say "action"-action I'm talking about the kind of action where people are throwing away their ammo like candy, big explosions and all that jive.
Thing is, dialogue is also action. Especially in Tarantino's movies. Maybe you would notice that too if your attention span was longer than five seconds.
Come back and watch the movie again later when you are not 15 to see if you've changed your mind then.
Burn After Reading and The Men Who Stare At Goats.
They have 1 or 2 funny moments that last a fraction of a minute but the rest of it is boring.
Before I heard Twilight was bad, I thought I might as well watch it. I think I got some sleep.
I actually thought Twilight was decent as far as cinematography\editing\etc go.
Inglourious basterds. All the action you see in the commercials, is all the action in the movie.
Please refer to my previous post.
Although after seeing that your online nicknames consists of the letters X, Y and Z and a YT account with lots of anime favorited I'm not really surprised.
Inglourious Basterds.
Nothing happened.
This is probably the worst post I've read all night, thanks.
Nice trolling
I have to agree with him, I fell asleep watching the trilogy and woke up thinking it was the next film but it was only halfway through the first one!
Transformers 2, almost fell asleep after 1 hour of effects which were too fast to even comprehend by the eye.

I have a feeling you expected an action film.
Even then, how can you not appreciate Tarantino's dialogue?
The Road.
I liked the book, but the movie was a bore.
It was just paced oddly, in my opinion.
There Will Be Blood
or
Be Kind Rewind
Those are the only two movies in a long time I couldn't be assed to finish, I was so unimpressed with them. And I can stomach some shitty movies.
christmas with the kranks ughhhh
Twilight and "Freaks". I need to watch Freaks again though, the only reason I thought it was boring is because I couldn't understand a fucking word that was said! I'll use subs next time.

Take that back right now I love those movies.
Star Wars: Episode II was pretty boring.
I'm a pretty big movie buff and I'm still yet to watch any of them all the way through.
same
I'll definitely watch them eventually, but I just don't really feel like it anytime soon.
Am I honestly the only person to have enjoyed Gattaca?
I'm the only one I know of who enjoyed the movie. :saddowns:
Don't worry, you're not alone. Gattaca is a favourite of mine
Take that back right now I love those movies.

fixed.
But I agree, episode II was very boring, but NOTHING compared to number 1. Pod racing was nice, end scene was fucking awesome, but overall it's just POLITICS. FUCKING POLITICS AND JAR JAR BINKS.
Agreed.

I LOVED Burn After Reading, but The Men Who Stare At Goats was just... 5/10 material. Very OK.
Now I might come up with something better later, but right off the top of my head it would have to be Alexander. I mean Jesus Christ.
Small town folk.
Imagineers or Primer, expected so much from them but was bored to death. Not saying they are bad movies, but they could cause anyone to be diagnosed with ADD.
2001 : A Space Odyssey
How is this even CREDITED as a film, it's impossible for films to put me to sleep; but this one single handedly takes the cake.
Believe it or not a movie called "Killer Drag Queens on Dope".
Much Ado About Nothing
Not only is it unfunny, it sucks in every way.
2001:Space odysey
Shrek 3. They were just trying to teach some lesson we all learned in Kindergarten and the plot was really really shabby.

Maybe I just missed the point then.
