The Invention of Lying bored me to death. The novelty of the premise wore off about halfway through, and there were only a handful of funny moments in the film.

I don't get why everyone is saying 2001 is boring. I could understand getting bored during the acid trip at the end, but everything else was interesting.

evil dead was one of the best films i ever saw
but a film i seriously found boring was 2001: a space oddyssey. aside from hal9000 everything in it was just pretty visuals and i had a hard time keeping awake in it
close second was LoTR

Why the fuck are people saying Inglorious Basterds was boring because it didn't have action? It wasn't supposed to have a lot of action. Tarantino's movies don't have a lot of action.

It was basically the best action/adventure trilogy to come along in years.

i really like a lot of slow or relatively uneventful movies and dramas, that most people consider boring. i however thought the lord of the rings movies were fucking awful and unbearably boring. i find movies based around action to be boring, and while the lord of the rings is not one of these, there are long buildups of story i never found interest in, for fight scenes that are utterly boring.
i found all of the lotr films excruciating to watch

Clearly your viewpoint is unique and you'll need a damn good reason to go with it. So far you've said "I don't care about the story". Which isn't a good basis at all. You can't claim to not like something because you didn't make an effort to care.
Munich, it's not a bad film, but I've never felt like I've been sitting down and staring at a tv for as long as I did while watching that film, I thought it was going to end about 4 or 5 times, but it just kept going and going and going...
