I saw Inglourious Basterds expecting it to be a Tarantino swear-a-thon-action-fest. What ended up occurring is me being disappointed by how dialog heavy the movie was. I'm perfectly fine with talkative movies but having the movie be 60% people sitting at tables trying to keep their cover in tense situations is just annoying. You could end up recutting the movie, removing 75% of the dialog from the long scenes and it would still make sense. Not to mention it would be under 2 hours then.
Have you ever seen a Tarantino film before?
Paranormal Activity.
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Why is everyone saying Men Who Stare at Goats? That movie was fucking terrific, oh well. Most of you just don't get it's subtle humor. I don't really expect most of facepunch to enjoy those kind of movies. I wonder whats going to be said next...There Will Be Blood? Just because it's low on action?
Someone already said There Will Be Blood, and I lost all hope them.
Really? That was a fucking great movie.
Waterworld
Open Water
Just because it's popular doesn't mean you can't have a reason.
just because you keep saying i have no reason, doesn't make that true.
Blade Runner
Really? That was a fucking great movie.
Agreed, but I've forgotten some of it so I need to rewatch it soon.
great comeback bro A+ How about this? ^ yeah I don't feel like doing that, cry about it
Same goes for you.
A- Team
The Queen. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
the blair wich project i actually full asleep 5 times in a "horror" movie
Flags of Our Fathers. Maybe it's because I'd stayed up for a good 24 hours before watching it, but upon reaching the 30 minute mark, I decided I wanted to watch something else.
Why the fuck are people saying Inglorious Basterds was boring because it didn't have action? It wasn't supposed to have a lot of action. Tarantino's movies don't have a lot of action.
the movie maybe has an action but no point it was kind of stupid
Avatar lost interest after about 30 minutes.
Easy Rider. never watch that movie sober, ever
Transformers 2 and 2012.

Especially its counterpart, Letters from Iwo Jima. [editline]10:44AM[/editline]
the darjeeling limited zzzz - oh some kid died - zzzz
:colbert:
A Serious Man. Maybe someone will say "oh it's beauty was in the dialog." It was a pretty good movie, but I was definitely tempted to just fast forward it. That and Lost in Translation. People said it was visually moving, which I guess I can agree with, but there was definitely a whole lot of nothing going on in that film. It seems The Life Aquatic had that going for it too. Which is weird, because Rushmore is my favorite movie. Three people have disagreed so far. I'll definitely give it another watch. Maybe I wasn't old enough to appreciate it or something.
the movie maybe has an action but no point it was kind of stupid
What?
The Last Broadcast. I don't remember who suggested it to me on here but I got it expecting to be scared. I was hugely disappointed.
The Men Who Stare At Goats. I didn't understand why so many people thought it was great. I couldnt' bare to watch it. And Fantastic Mr. Fox. Turned it off after 30 minutes.
