I wanna see this but the original version, what DeadMollusk said pisses me off. edit: or is there no original version as in a japanese one? Spirited away was so much better in Japanese than English.
Yeah, there's a Japanese one, go look on BakaBT. I think niizk did it. EDIT: Wait, you mean what I said on here or on the blog?
Oh yeah when I went to Japan I got one of those books and watched a commercial Looks fucking annoying tbh but whatever it is studio ghibli they made totoro
Whoever Liam Neeson plays, his character will die.
Every character that Neeson plays dies in one way or another. [sp]Dad >:l [/sp]
studio ghibli rox
Ponyo, you're the only one who can save the planet. Do it now, do it!
You don't just tell someone to go and save the planet. Ridiculous.
Matt damon o lowd
Watched this last night. Pretty pleaseant film. Gets a bit fucking trippy to the end, but certainly not their best film. Not a patch on Porco Rosso or Princess Mononoke.
Meh.
Not heard of Sprinted Away, not heard of Ponyo. This isn't big in the UK is it?
My girlfriend is dragging me to see this soon.. :frown:
Looks too cute.
PEE OH EN WHY OH I would go see it except I wont :smug:
So I saw it today It was... weird. Pretty good I guess, definitely more 'mainstream' then some of this guys other work. I felt like such a dork though, it was mainly little kids, their parents, some random Asian people, a few girls that I think go to my school, and me at the theatre :v:
Fuck Disney, I'll buy a DVD with the original Japanese audio and English subs thank you very much.
all i can say is, fuck yes liam neeson <3
Fuck Disney, I'll buy a DVD with the original Japanese audio and English subs thank you very much.
FINALLY. I hate it when a company dubs japanese shows with shitty voices, ill take subtitles anyday.
I watched the trailer, and honestly, I think it looks fairly stupid.
Fuck, why does this have to come out at the same time as District 9? Two movies I want to see, but I'll probably be able to see only one. Fuck.
Well i just saw it and to be honest it wasn't as good as spirited away, howls moving castle, castle in the sky etc. but it was a cool film. Incredibly abrupt ending.
I hate anime but I loved 'Spirited Away,' I'll probably go and see this if I get the chance. Also [sp]Ponyo dies, I can tell because she/he is young and cute, that girl in the beginning who said "I never saw waves like these before will probably adopt him, but he will dies somehow, I can tell.[/sp]
Did totoro die I was going to see this movie today but my friend insisted on seeing the new GI joe movie It was cool and I don't regret it I can live with watching my Japanese DVD of it that came in the mail a week ago that I haven't got around to watching

Disney ruins EVERYTHING they touch.
Hey, guys, go and see this movie. Fuck District 9, Ponyo is a million times better. I had ZERO emotional reactions to D9, but I was grinning all the way through Ponyo. It's just. Fucking. Fun.
That's Disney for you. They put in one person from the Jonas Bros. in order to get cash from teenage girls who wants a wet pussy.
A Cyrus is doing the voice for someone else, too.
Why do the voice actors have to sing.
Spirited away in a few words, brought back culture to anime, hell It shouldn't even be considered as such. This'll be great.
i saw it and it was terrific
I had ZERO emotional reactions to D9
:downs:
It could go either way, I've heard some bad things about it actually. But I'm keeping my hopes up.
Absolutely charming movie. Very lighthearted and happy throughout the whole thing.
