Finally turned 19 here in Canada. That means I can stop bumming off of friends and randoms at parties for my nicotine fix. Any rec's for some good smokes that I can buy here in Canada? I only smoke when I drink or toke, so I don't mind spending a little extra on a pack for the quality, as it should last me awhile.
No, they're the rechargable ones with the cartridges. I've heard good things about them but I'm not sure on how good they are. http://www.blucigs.com/
i'm pretty sure these things are better. and you can get interchangeable parts for them. and you can vape anything with them, like weed. I haven't smoked in ages though.
everyone i know who has peter stokkebye swears by the danish export. i, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoy the amsterdam shag and london blend. both of which have a stronger flavour of tobacco and more earthy taste. it's been one year of smoking, i tried paul malls, marlboros, american spirits. but i settled on rolling these for +/- 8 months.
Are there any health risks to smoking 3-5 cigarettes a week? I'm more of a "takes-a-cig-when-he's-offered" kind of guy, and my bro keeps giving me cigs when he's home for the weekend. Is it a big deal? Would cutting down to 1-3 a week be okay? I'm a newbie/ignorant smoker. :v: [editline]25th September 2013[/editline] Camel Crush is my shit.
Smoking cigarettes always carries health risks such as heart disease among other things. I think the smartest thing to do is not to let yourself get addicted. As a long term smoker I agree smoking can be a very pleasurable activity, but I still worry because I occasionally get the "smokers cough". It's really hard to speculate because I am not a medical professional. That being said, any physician will tell you the safest amount of cigarettes to smoke a week is 0.
Im smoking a EGO CE5 right now, they're pretty inexpensive, and fucking awesome. I've got a few flavors for it, and since buying it a week ago, I haven't had a cigarette since. Get a good eCig, not a Blu. You'll love it.
Yeah blu's are pretty shit and more expensive in the long run. I'm trying out a CE5+ right now instead of my Artemas tank, i like the resistance you get when you hit it, feels more like pulling through a cig. And all the wicking/other vaporizing bullshit is inside the metal cylinder in the center instead of loose wicking [editline]26th September 2013[/editline]
i'm pretty sure these things are better. and you can get interchangeable parts for them. and you can vape anything with them, like weed. Im finding the VAMO to be awesome. I like vivi nova alot because the loose wick. As soon as the CE5 gets low on fluid, it gets a burnt taste. The ViVi goes till the last drop haha.
how are you meant to pronounce pall mall? cos here in new zealand we're masculine as hell and we say, "paul maul" But i was watching goodfellas and in that, some guys say, pal mal. And i was like wot. Is that how you americans still say it?? or are movies lying to me again and you guys never said it like that ever??
Paul Mall
they're lying. i thought paul mall was the appropriate spelling, too
They're playing Italian legitimate businessmen in a movie. Dont expect proper linguistic skills lol.
Smoking after donating blood would be a bad idea right?
Smoking after donating blood would be a bad idea right?
you'd probably pass out
you'd probably pass out
yeah fuck that. I can go a day without them.
To me, smoking isn't worth it unless I'm smoking American Spirits. I know I sound like a company rep, but you get more tobacco and cigarette breaks at work are longer. I think they taste better, too, but thats just my opinion. I'm actually having one now as I type this.
Bought a pack of Marlboro Reds today, been a while since I smoked so I thought why not, I'll try to be conservative with them though.
Smoking after donating blood would be a bad idea right?
Surprisingly not, last time I donated blood I had one like 15 minutes after. Well I had some apple juice first, but yeah, no passing out or anything.
Does anyone know of a REALLY girly looking thin cigarette (smaller diameter than most). It's about as long as a king size. Completely white, gold stripe around the filter and it tastes like fucking project runway. A week+2days ago I was at ACL and this friend of mine had them. She offered me one, I turned it down because it looked girly but my bro got one and I took one puff. Shit's disgusting and we're trying to find out what makes it so gross I also bought 100gs of Solani's Silver Flake. I'm about to go try it in my pipe and i've heard this is literally the shit.

My other guess would be Capri, or Misty (but I think those have a blue line)
My town is infested with a bunch of 13 year old middle schoolers smoking e-cigs in the back of the park because it's cool I guess.
Trying to get into rolling my own cigs but all the pouch baccy in canada sucks. I got a 50g one of canadian classic and it really light and airy, 90% stems etc
peter stokkebye bro

I quit smoking Tuesday as a birthday present for my girlfriend. I've made a mistake. I miss my American Spirits. [editline]24th October 2013[/editline] Also, what is your opinion on E-Cigs?
they're good if you're genuinely trying to quit cause you can taper down the nicotine levels but otherwise its just a good way to get even more addicted to nicotine
You enjoy it a lot more with an e-cig, due to it's convenience. As well without the nasty attributes smoking brings. I personally prefer rollies, I enjoy Bugler Menthol, however it is hard to find them at times. So I have to deal with Top Menthol. Their papers are inferior to that of Bugler.
Lately i've been smoking JPS pouch tobacco since Champion Ruby is expensive in Australia. Kind of a shame since Champion Ruby makes nice thick smoke but JPS is pretty decent for the $15 it costs for a 30g pouch
they're good if you're genuinely trying to quit cause you can taper down the nicotine levels but otherwise its just a good way to get even more addicted to nicotine
Nicotine from an e-cig is way less addicting, there's nothing potentiating the nicotine like mad like in real cigs
