They tried to reuse Zyklon B, the drug they gassed Jews with, as fuel for actual cooking ovens.
Being trawling through Wikipedia, fuck this shit is fucked up, Nazis and unit 731
Then you also didn't know nazi rocket scientists were captured by Russia and the US and pretty much brought both nations to space, so in essence nazi germany started the space race.

Im guessing sending shit up into space or really high? so the enemy wouldnt see it?
I like a lot of the engineering experiments they did, with tanks, aircraft, artillery, general firearms, etc. In particular, I'm a fan of the P.1000 Landkreuzer. Basically, it was just a fucking massive tank that had a battlecruiser's turret attached as its main armament, along with a couple of smaller turrets on the back which were also supposed to be used on ships. Oh- and on top of that, it featured a compliment of anti-aircraft guns aboard. You know, because it's so goddamn huge. And therefore, slow and vulnerable to aircraft. Just some of the many reasons why the project was never seriously attempted. But before they called it off, they designed an even bigger variant that was basically just a gigantic fucking railway gun attached to the insanely-enlarged body of a tank: the P.1500 Monster. And this is what it would have fired:
Kinda related to that is the Schwerer Gustav and Dora railway cannon. Which actually got built That thing was just riddiculously big.
Most of our modern day stealth bombers are based off of Nazi prototypes. [thumb]http://akropolis.pbworks.com/f/HO_299_Horten_Shigeo.jpg[/thumb] That's the Horten Ho 299 which was the first flying wing plane that used jet propulsion.

Soviets also had some wicked fun with their KV-series This one shot itself in the other turret "KV-12 (Object 232) - Experimental chemical tank. Was equipped with 4 external toxin tanks on the back of chassis. Tanks surrounded with 30mm armor. Not taken in service." Toxin spewing tank. No need to say more me-323, aka the biggest ass that could fly ALSO, they were gonna use this plane to create the first AC-130, and then create a twin-boom long range version (yes, two of those mothers merged in one)
How? Im guessing sending shit up into space or really high? so the enemy wouldnt see it?
At the time because of V2 rocket development german rocket scientists had the best knowledge of rockets. I think the Russians got all their research when they got there, and like the russians did, the Americans took a scientist with them. Wernher von Braun was part of nasa at the space race. Nazi Experiments? HEIL HYDRA
We learned so much about trauma from WW2, from the Japanese's and Nazi's experiments that it's almost crazy to think about. I think the Japanese use to tie people up in fields, drop shrapnel bombs on them, then examine the wounds and try to find the best ways to treat the wounds.

The Germans may/may not have had the designs for a nuclear weapon. Such information cannot be revealed until 2045, and I have no clue why. Throw a grenade into a room full of goats and then rush in and save their lives. Mythos has it that they got to keep the goat they saved :v:. It was cut from GIGN, SAS and Green Berets for being "Inhumane". No clue about the Spetsnaz.

Hitler wants a railgun? We build 5. Hitler wants a coastal battery that can reach London? can do. Hitler wants missiles that can target stuff from long range with precision? In a moment. You see where I'm heading.
I'm not saying that they did/didn't have the chance. I just stated the basics :v:. And I think Nebelwerfurs [fuck you too, spelling] sounded a hella scarier than Stukas. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] AKA Screaming Mimi's

Thanks everyone for contributing :D You've made me gain some knowledge <3
Mengele was barely a scientist. Most of his experiments had no scientific basis whatsoever. I firmly believe he worked under the guise of being a scientist simply to carry out his sadistic tendencies without any opposition.

I hear they have a habit of locking their recruits in rooms filled with cow guts and blood, tied to a chair, then releasing the hounds. I somehow doubt an outfit that would do that would worry much about a few goats. Spetsnaz are hardcore like that.
You can also look up some of their psychological warfare tactics... For instance, the bomber "Stuka" had a siren attached to its belly (also called "Jericho trompete"), that was activated by the plane airbrakes... When a Stuka dived, ready to drop off a bomb, you'd hear something like this: As soon as everyone heard that sound, they were all shitting fucktons of bricks [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] And IIRC, the V1 missiles had a very unique (as in scary-as-fuck) sound as well
I don't know if it was just me, but this was incredibly exciting, especially the collision.

I often wonder how the world would look like if the Germans had won the war. Especially the technology. The German scientists were extremely clever, I wonder why. Was it the education, or was it because they got a lot of funds, or perhaps a mix of it? I mean check the stuff during the end of the war. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmgewehr_44 - First modern assault rifle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zielger%C3%A4t_1229 - Active infrared scope to be used with the Stg 44, similar system fitted on tanks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_XXI_U-boat - First submarine that primary operated submerged. Later influenced post war Soviet and US submarine designs a lot. And of course a lot more.

It was the largest self-propelled weapon to see service.[1] Its heaviest munition was a 60 cm (24 in) diameter, 2,170 kg (4,800 lb) shell, and the range for its lightest shell of 1,250 kg (2,800 lb) was just over 10 km (6.2 mi). Each gun had to be accompanied by a crane, a heavy transport trailer, and several modified tanks to carry shells.
