how can the amerikan fight? but i suppose it is for the best, at least this way, the amerikan can burn its fat
If you are extremely fat you can't even join the military. Me I am extremely skinny, now I do agree that Americans have the tendency to being quite over weight, but doesn't mean we all are, and I agree with you that lots of people do need to loose weight. Also if one person burns fat doesn't mean all the fat people in America our burning fat at the same time.
Do what it do bra, and yes its true, there are no respawn timers in the military, unless your resuscitated. Write a book if that shit happen's. FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT TO PARTY. Remember to spy check!
Remember to bring lots of medpacks, there's no regenerating health.
arrogant amerikan, you fail to look at all the other allied forces who fought in the war as is expected by a pig, you forget the russians? the english - and their colonial forces? you arrived late
You sound like a dictator or something. Just shut up.
Nice English. Remember you Kraut prick, we kicked your ass the last time you had a war, you of all nations, have no room to talk.
I laughed, you just made my day sir.
Why are most of you guys so anti military? Is this a phase 12 year olds go through of sticking it to the man?

Military itself is a tradition, one that was turned to a game of money instead of a game for power like it used to be pretty much everywhere before the 1900's. At a point where canned food factories can be turned into ammunition providers within a week, something isn't right It isn't anti-war green hippie bullshit but realization of how joining is like being a chess figurine
I will agree that the current wars are being fought for Mr Big of some shitty oil company. But hopefully in the future the military can be used what its intended purpose for defence of a nation and it's people not to line some knobs pockets. We never know what some crazy guy will try to do in the future.
So for the past year or so, I have been going through the process of enlisting! First I am planning to join the National Guard as a Combat Engineer (21B). After senior year of High School, I am going to basic training, after that A.I.T, currently I am 17 years old, and just started my senior year of high school! I plan to sign up for 6 years or so, then after that decide what I want to do, if I want to stay in the military or sign up for marines, or another part of the Military. Next Monday, the 21st is the day that I get sworn in! Wish me luck!
I would actually wait, don't sign so fast. They might have another those quick ship and you get extra 20K for doing it. Quick Ship was offered when I was in BCT so I missed out on it, Quick Ship is basically when you sign your contract, you ship out to training within the next two week. I suggest waiting near the near of your school year first. Specialist here, 52D and Reserves side. [editline]03:02PM[/editline] You can be fat, just you go to fat camp first for awhile, depending how many persons the Army needs at the time.
How does it actually work in the USA then? In Britain rather then just joining the army it's more like your joining a particular regiment beacuse most counties have there own regiments be it Infantry or Armoured or anything else. It seems in the US you just get stuck into some random place that could be local, or on the other side of the country.

If there's a opening and they feel nice that day, they'll try to steer you into that station of duty. But really, it's going to be almost the whatever the fuck they need. National Guard will of course be a station within your State unless there was something very wrong. The state pays for you, so most likely within your state (within 50 miles usually). Reserves will try to place you with the nearest station within your home/reported location of your housing where they you need your skills. I originally was supposed to be stationed out of state but all their 52D moved up like another station like 100 additional miles. So I was station with closer one with one slot left for me. [editline]03:19PM[/editline] National Guard and Reserves though are more lenient should you need to move (and require a change of Station of Duty).
Sounds more like a bureaucratic company then a military organisation. But then again the organisation of British Army has been around since 1645 and is more of a family complex type thing.
Trust me, I'm a scientist
Smart people don't come to facepunch we all know that. Stop lying to yourself.
The modern vehicles have air conditioning systems, but a lot of the older stuff doesn't so it's literally like being in a big tin can under the Iraqi sun with nothing but a small fan to keep the air circulating. Not that confusing most of the time though, you get used to it. We would literally end up at times in a 728 with like a pool of sweat in the bottom where everyone was emptying their boots as they would fill up with sweat. Can't turn out in slow moving shit like that depending on where you are because some fucker will through a molotov or a grenade on you.
I didn't know you where in the military. Thought you just played ARMA alot. [editline]11:57PM[/editline] after doing some searching nevermind on the above question.
arrogant amerikan, you fail to look at all the other allied forces who fought in the war as is expected by a pig, you forget the russians? the english - and their colonial forces? you arrived late
Oh look two people fighting. Meow.
