Good episode, you can tell Reno got a boner for Becka.
So it's been out, and sense then we've got a windmill, an abduction, and a hostage return. This kind of reminds me of when in the last colony, the doctor was abducted, but never returned.
That might have been because of real life problems at home. Had to go home because of something that happened. Otherwise, this season has been amazing.
Fucking love this season. The women aren't absolutely useless like last season. Becka needs to stop caring so much about hygiene, but she is hot as fuck all.
Anyone watch the new episode? Sad part with Jim was sad and unexpected.
Tick is a badass. It's ironic that I just finished watching Surviving the Cut for recon marines.
Tick is gonna be the best guy if he doesn't pull any shit
Is there only one more episode? I caught a bit of the preview for it, that telephone ringing was unnaturally scary and the voice of the guy talking is weird too. It looked like a supply crate was dropped from a helicopter and then they get mobbed by the gang of people again. I'm guessing Tick will build some last minute security trap to save everyone.
best show on discovbery next to mythbusters i tell you kids.
Tick is so boss. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode.
I really don't get their whole escape Idea. Hey lets spend 5 weeks building infrastructure like windmills and buckets to gather water and shit only to leave on some rickety ass motorcycle hybrid.

Oh right, I forgot about that
And if I recall correctly, that was only to get a different source of water, I'm not so sure that meant that they were going to escape fully on that. Also, you have to admit, the oil spill wasn't part of production, it's possible they might get dropped off a ton of water or something.
Nah I doubt it they collected like 700 gallons in 1 night of rain. One of them should drink ~1 gallon of water per day, and there's 11 of them with the addition of tick. That's enough water for 63 days. About 9 weeks. And that's assuming it won't rain again, which it does, like every other day.
Dang Tick is really helping them to prepare for the attack, the water cannon and shields are sweet. The next episode will be intense.
Cant wait for the next episode. This season seemed to go really fast. They should make it longer then 50 days and not so much of the pre scripted scenes and tiny areas.
Tick needs his own survival show.
I love that guy, We need more people like him in the show. I really hate it that they don't broadcast the new season in holland at the same time. Yar Har, Fiddle Di Dee :pirate: [editline]05:59PM[/editline] From the Discovery Channel website about Episode 9 [sp]A militia of outsiders attacks the Colonists and their newly fortified compound. Then, the group divides, some taking the scout boat out to do reconnaissance for supplies and a place to escape to. But not everyone makes it back from the mission. [/sp]
Jim is totally Adam Sandler in desquise. Just look at him.
New episode tonight.
So, given what just happened, why are they going back to the house? I mean good deal, but still, what happened there is a bit close for comfort.
Is this season better then the first season? I liked the idea of a show like this, but the first season sucked so bad. For example, during this episode where they were collecting solar panels they had managed to collect 14. After they get done installing them however, you can clearly see that there are 18. Pretty sure if they don't even really collect solar panels, they probably don't really have to collect food/water either.
I swear to god I fucking hate Jim :argh: Every time my family watches this, we bitch about Jim, because he's an annoying prick.
So, given what just happened, why are they going back to the house? I mean good deal, but still, what happened there is a bit close for comfort.
All part of the script I assume. [sp]If I were in that situation I would have waited for Jim and Tick to return so I could explain everything to them in person. What happens to the guy that leaps out of the bushes anyway? He just jumps out coughs blood on them and then drops dead?[/sp]
Micheal was my favorite. :smith:
That was a really shitty way to kill the characters off. Like really do people have nothing better to do than hide in the bushes and cough up blood on people?
it would be cooler if they got infected and then they came back and they had to deal with getting rid of them
With the episode name, I honestly expected them to legitimately [sp]get sick, then pass it off as the virus, not get spat on and forced to run off.[/sp]
I don't get this. I just watched The Virus episode a couple days ago. So is this series basically like a role play thing?
