Just finished this game. Didn't get scared once and was disappointed. Very good mod though had a lot of fun. Pretty hilarious watching moosh freak out though.

Nope, default brightness by myself with the curtains closed and a g35 headset with 7.1 surround. Jump scares rarely make me jump which seemed to be 90% of the scares. The shadows bit was just kinda funny to me because it reminded me of Metro2033.

Amnesia would be good for you, it doesn't use jump scares often, more atmospheric and it's easy to get immersed into.

The full playlist, I derp'd pretty hard on a basic puzzle but I heartily recommend everyone try this mod out. Really well done.
