I just noticed something; if people edit their post (possibly within a certain period of time) and someone quotes them, the quote changes too. Can someone explain this. Or am I just going insane?

I've got a request. In every thread in Sensationalist Headlines where some country does something stupid, people from other countries start saying that country is always stupid, and otherwise shitposting in that vein. I'm not just saying this because it's usually the US doing something stupid and Europeans start posting "only in America" all the time. This is true, but it also happens the other way around - whenever a European country does something stupid, all the US-based posters start bashing that country (or in extreme cases the entire continent). And then of course when one side starts doing it, the other side gets indignant and a flamewar starts up. So what I'm asking is if someone could put something up in the rules thread about it. Please and thank you.

Usually Europeans refrain from posting anything about it and when they do it's usually well-mannered (as in a joke), or so fucking outlandish it's met with a thousand dumb ratings. or the australian government jokes that people post or the china/north korea/some other country censorship jokes or when greece pops up in the news, people bash it it happens with a lot of countries
