Yeah it's FP Toolkit - should have never had that shit installed in the first place.
Don't know whether it's an exploit in the script itself or some exploit that used the script?

Oh thank god I never bothered to install it.
Got really paranoid and started changing a bunch of shit on tons of accounts. For a minute there, I thought we were completely buggered.
well dang
Welp, uninstalled FP toolkit and changed my PW twice afterwards. Hope I'll be okay.
I wonder if people had the script of it or the extension
I was using the chrome extension
lol Jesse.
Had a bad feeling about that script to begin with. I just removed it, hopefully no sensitive data has been captured yet.
I narrowed a time down to the past 11 days. One of the banned users had recently reformatted.
safe to change your pass anyway.
the exploit could have been done overnight so who knows. remove it

03:21 - Alice in Mikucup ⦂☽: Also were you using the Chrome extension or just the normal script version?
03:21 - Wingaroo (%master%>SysAdmin>Wingar): Chrome
03:22 - Alice in Mikucup ⦂☽: The extension that he recently released then?
03:22 - Wingaroo (%master%>SysAdmin>Wingar): yes
Looks like Wingless was using the Chrome extension as well.

that deep throbbing sensation
Well, I'm glad I didn't install it, because I was seriously considering it a few days ago.
that deep throbbing sensation
It gets me all worked up just thinking about it.
This is where we find he was using the script to pull user cookies then storing then in a open directory with plain text read access. :downs:

no word of FF users being affected, so i guess it is the extension then
Any chance we can get a "Mark all threads unread" thing on the read threads page?
I constantly shit my list up with SH or FT crap.
Or at least make it so all the "Mark unread" links are in the same position so i can mass-unread easily.
And to think that I was thinking of installing FP Toolkit this morning. Thank you, subconscious.
no word of FF users being affected, so i guess it is the extension then
I used it on Firefox and I'm fine as far as I'm aware.
I used it on Firefox and I'm fine as far as I'm aware.
Change your password, anyways. I did, and I just first heard of this FP toolkit.
being told an Opera user was affected too.
i didnt even know opera could run scripts/extensions.
Change your password, anyways. I did, and I just first heard of this FP toolkit.
I changed it within a minute or two of learning people were compromised.
