Yeah my girlfriend is passing through london to come visit me and needs to get the tube, luckily we booked it for the 1st of may so she just misses being there when the first strike is happening.
That Shard tip is great. I'll do it next time I'm in London.
When we were there at new years it looked quite literally like a tower of evil if you remember.

Oh yeah, Camden is absolutely perfect for peoplewatching.
Art Museum, definitely. It was one of the best experiences I ever had in London. If you're going to travel somewhere, go to Guildford. It's one of the best little places I've been to. Great shops, great food and it never failed to make me happy. Just wandering through the town aimlessly can forge memories that stick with you. And there's a church from 1500 and one that's older, but I can't remember what year.
Oh yeah, Camden is absolutely perfect for peoplewatching.
are you insane? It's got good food, yes, but the people frightened me to all hell. And I've been to New York. Yet, the only person who smoked weed in front of me was a polished rocks dealer.
There is a lot of cool stuff in london my favourite store is lillywhites it has many things on like 70% discount and prepare yourself you're gonna get a lot of things for your money. also i like the fish museum and lots of cool stores on oxford street where you can buy games. definitely should look at HMV there are a lot of games there that you can buy. hmmm what else well there's a lot you can do there but also cheap games and clothes
If you can do any tourist attraction, go to Camden. It's so good, I loved the winding tight alleyways full of tiny stalls and shops. Heartily recommend. My best advice to you would be buy a day pass for the tube, you can go to any stop an unlimited amount of times for like £12 a day, very good for getting around fast. You can buy them from the ticket machines in the wall. Me and my girlfriend went round pretty much the entire city this way despite being on a limited amount of time :).

Quick and easy. [editline]25th April 2014[/editline] That is, assuming he's staying in zones 1-4. I think relying on pricecapping gets a bit dicey if you're going further out.
I'd kill for a trip to the UK.. So many Imperial Military related museums/sights to see.. My military History boner is slowly rising..
If you are into War go to the Imperial War Museum, I've been wanting to go ever since I was little.
If you are into War go to the Imperial War Museum, I've been wanting to go ever since I was little.
Closed until 16th July or so this year, at least the IWM in London. It's due to it being a century after the start of WW1.
Science Museum, Natural History Museum. And if you get a chance spend an afternoon at the Zoo, it's full of awesome animals, they have gorillas, tigers and it's huge.
dont go to camden, fuck that place If you're interested in museums, British Museum, Imperial War Museum are both good, check for exhibitions Most good stuff has been posted already
Check out the British Museum, lots of great artifacts there.
I'll be in london tommorow, meeting my girlfriend for her coming back up here for 3 weeks, I get the joy of using the tube at rush hour though.
I do not envy you in the slightest. Once came back from chilling in a park on a friday afternoon, only realised once I got to platform level and on the train that it was peak time travel. I nearly threw up/fainted. seriously, fuck accidental commuterisms.

You said your hostel is by Hyde Park, it wouldn't happen to be the Meininger in Baden Powell House on Gloucester road?
Yeah the Camden markets are dope.
Do real people think this genuinely
I get there at 5 to 5, so yeah, gonna be fun, but meh, I'll manage, got an hour to get to waterloo from Euston.

I know it sounds stupid but it makes such a difference using the end carriages, often I'll get a seat on the last carriage whilst the middle ones are absolutely rammed.
Do real people think this genuinely
When I visited four years ago, I thought that, yeah. One of the highlights of that trip. Actually, I made the same exact thread. Maybe it will help?
Have fun today!
