I think this thread is a good thing. My writing class does this al lot in our free time. We've probably given somewhere in the neighborhood of 400k grains.

We aren't really cheating them. Rice is the most basic, cheapest kind of food out there, the Google ad service pays the site owners x amount of money per ad viewing. The owners take a small fraction of that to buy 10 grains of rice (which is more than likely worth less than a penny), then use some of the ad earnings to keep their servers going and pay for publicity, anything else is theirs to keep.
The way we are doing it we are essentially earning the site owners a LOT of money in a short period of time.
