I would be more triggered that it comes off like a weird fan fiction more than anything.
I really don't understand this point, it's not like the reveal was weird or distasteful. What would be not "weird fanfiction" to you?
I really don't understand this point, it's not like the reveal was weird or distasteful. What would be not "weird fanfiction" to you?
I always find it pretty silly when a character isn't said to be not-straight, lots of people will deny fans that interpretation in the basis of ".there's no proof" but the second there's something to indicate that they are, indeed, not-straight, the same people say that it's too pushy or shoved to the forefront or too blatant. Like c'mon, man.
I really don't understand this point, it's not like the reveal was weird or distasteful. What would be not "weird fanfiction" to you?
It was a joke.
Well it's not funny. Whenever you say shit like that and get backlash you just respond with "oh it's just a joke lol!" Either your humor's shit or you can't stand being proven wrong.
"Lesbians kissed and it hurt my feelings "
My brother is actually pissed, he masturbates to her I'm pretty sure.
videogames cause gay
I mean we all know that characters don't have relationships and if they do it's because they're pushing a political message. Kind of like how blizzard showed torbjoern to be straight for strange ulterior motives.

Bioware being a good example for one with the gay planet, shuttle pilot dude in ME3, and etc.
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C0JVTrkXcAABwUi.jpg[/t]
I would've never guessed that's Torb, he looks so much like Reinhardt without armor
SHE'S OURS NOW
I would've never guessed that's Torb, he looks so much like Reinhardt without armor
That is Reinhardt, I think in the full image, Torb is sitting nearby.
I would've never guessed that's Torb, he looks so much like Reinhardt without armor
I haven't played the game inawhile, but isn't he like the height and build of a garden gnome in game?
I hate it when companies do stuff like this with IP , people dont need every detail of a character spelled out to them. Just leave it ambiguous so people can make characters fit what they need to get out of them. Its why Darksouls and other lore theory vids are so popular.
Can we stop making this joke.
Make those kind of comments ban-on-sight, please
Not this time, but companies in the past have really fumbled/made incredibly awkward political maneuvers in this regard. Bioware being a good example for one with the gay planet, shuttle pilot dude in ME3, and etc.
Yeah, it does happen. But torbjoern is worth mentioning because that can be politically motivated too, weirdly, but we need evidence for these sorts of claims. We may or may not find evidence to suggest that tracer is just some creepy tokenism, but until then people should lay off the accusations imo.
Make those kind of comments ban-on-sight, please
To be fair to this guy (he's getting bad ratings) memes are bannable. Just check my recent ban history where I was literally banned for saying "muh," and the attack helicopter shit is just a dumbass meme.
I'm sure people have made this connection already, but people getting genuinely upset over this are no better than the mentality of SJWs. There's shoehorning in a character's sexuality, and then there's this, which...isn't. I will always regard Tracer as the exact same regardless of her sexuality: as an annoying gnat.
Make those kind of comments ban-on-sight, please
Just because something isn't funny doesn't mean it should be bannable

It's like one aspect of the character which changes nothing about them in game. But even then, these characters are established characters with established back stories, with established pre-existing relationships to other characters and the world around them. They're not blank slates to begin with.
Just because something isn't funny doesn't mean it should be bannable
Transphobia or making fun of otherkin isn't a joke, if racism/xenophobia is bannable why can't this be too?
Just because something isn't funny doesn't mean it should be bannable
It's not that it's unfunny. But it's that it's dumb memeshit.
Transphobia or making fun of otherkin isn't a joke, if racism/xenophobia is bannable why can't this be too?
Non-binary people aren't really the same as transgender people. And non-binary and otherkin people aren't really on the same level. Though I support the former somewhat, it's not the same.

is only game why you heff to be mad

If this tied into her motivation for wanting to get into the military taking her risky flight with experimental tech it would be cool. I just think it could have been done way better than it was.
Gay planet? What?
https://www.destructoid.com/star-wars-the-old-republic-and-its-new-gay-planet--242389.phtml Let's go visit it sometime.

It's quite literally the perfect time and way to demonstrate this, just like how it was a great time to show off that torbjoern is a father.
all this "but i'm a straight ally wy r u makin fun of str8 ppl" shit is so lame gimme a break
I'm gay and trans. This trend of yelling at "them straights" or "them cis" is far more detrimental than people are led to believe.

Why does it have to tie into the backstory and have to be explained and "justified"?
This decision to make Tracer gay affects nobody but those who are either A) Too sensitive and see it as a negative 2) Too sensitive and see it as the "ULTIMATE PROGRESSIVE IDEAL" [editline]23rd December 2016[/editline] merge, fuck
I'm gay and trans. So yeah, if you want to reach people, bad idea.
