Well aware. I'm holding.
In fact I'd probably be waiting for the price to go down even further, then buying up some more.
I thought I'd let you guys know that Feathercoin isn't even the most profitable mining coin right now.
Feathercoin mining is 4x profitable vs BTC.
At current P2P trades BBQCoin mining is about 6x to 8x profitable vs BTC.
Really. BBQCoin is getting an exchange soon as well, so the price will shoot up. Anyone mining Feathercoin should switch and hold onto the BBQCoin for a few weeks.

What the fuck is bbqcoin? This whole alt currency business is getting ridiculous.
Still waiting for the rise of Fartbucks.
I can't get the bbqcoin client to connect to the network

Could someone give me a FTC pool, every single one I tried had one problem or another.
I've been using this pool, but i wouldn't recommend it
http://fc.ltcoin.net/
It's down right now.
Solo mined 500 Chinacoin while I was asleep, guess it's time to mine BBQ for awhile. :v:

And bitcointalk is full of scam warnings, that it got hacked, etc. but hey it seems to be working for now, thanks.
I've been using http://fc.dontmine.me/ when I mine FTC. Right now though, I'm on http://ub3rl33t.com/ mining BQC.
I'm kind of scared all these bitcoin exchanges are ponzi schemes.
You can buy BTC right now at mtgox, then withdrawl that BTC to BTC-e in order to buy LTC with it. That's what I'm doing.
AKA USD -> Gox -> buy BTC -> withdrawl btc to your btc-e bitcoin address -> use your BTC at btc.e to buy LTC
How long does that take though? Is it still a massive waiting time for the transfer? Or is that an actual bitcoin transfer? I don't know how bitcoins actually work I'm just buying and selling. :v:

wow i feel like someone with a good mining rig
Sans grtting usd to gox, the whole process takes less than 30 minutues if you pay the tiny transaction fee to send btc to btc.e.
The long part is getting usd to mtgox since it has to clear your bank which can take 3 to 4 business days. This is assuming you are verified and use something like dwolla to get money from your bank. Verification takes about 2 to 3 weeks. There are other alternatives that i dont use that are quicker though (but youll be paying fees)

Holy shit! CNC is currently 1321% more profitable to mine than BTC.
http://www.coinchoose.com
I find a lot of these "womg profitable" claims to be highly dubious. Why would random cryptocurrency flavor of the week be that much more profitable than any other currency if nobody actually buys/exchanges with it? I can't imagine you'll find many actual legitimate buyers of CNC/BBQ/WTF/LOL, especially since the only reason why people are selling them in the first place is "lawl you can mine them better than btc", and it's the only reason a new one is being made every week where the guy who makes it holds a significant amount in his wallet just to hopefully get rich quick off it.
I mean I suppose there are traders who are legitimately wanting to trade with it, but people like me are only wanting to trade with BTC/LTC because they are the current only "legitimate" currencies, and they are the only one able to hold any real value over a month or two. No offense but whens the last time anyone bothered to poke at NMC or PPC or whatever with the current flavor of the week being out. Why would I ever want to buy a currency from miners that is dirt cheap/valueless, and pretty much garunteed to have no real market in about a month when the next flavor of the week comes out, and when the only currencies that appear to be holding any value and holding any real market depth are BTC/LTC?
You're right, as a long term investment BTC/LTC is the smart choice. But you can make decent cash mining the flavor of the week alt-coin and dumping it a few days later.

Because, you can profit off them short term. The only reason to buy them is because the market is full of retards and because they are really volatile. They can half or triple in value in 2 hours.
You don't want to keep them, you only want to profit off them.
Once BQC has an exchange (which it is getting, its confirmed) I'm betting the price will shoot up by at least 5x more then what I bought those for.
The price for those USB-stick sized USB miner chips was just revealed :

At 1.99 BTC a piece I don't think I will be buying one. If it would have been lower I might have bought one for novelty.

So what you're saying is that in 2015 it should hit a peak of around $2250 USD (260²/30, an increase by the same factor).

MtGox was sued for $75 Million by CoinLab, so that was probably pushed back once again.

BQC is rising in difficulty and doubled in price today, or at least people are charging double what they were yesterday in p2p trades.
A real exchange should be out soon.
i have 200 bbqcoins
how rich am i?
i have 200 bbqcoins

$0
(for now)
What's the bbq to usd exchange rate? or to btc.
So I thought I'd get into bqc for a quick profit, left it mining overnight and...

Even if bqc stays below the curve of other altcoins and only gets to about 0.001 btc/bqc, that's just over $15 in just under 8 hours.
No doubt the difficulty is gonna skyrocket soon but dammit get in while you can!
