So i go through the trouble of creating a few exchange accounts to find i only have 19 Cents in my wallet.
How do I know if it's working? It's saying I have about 30-50Khps and 27 work units queued up and the rest of the things are 0.
I'm still optimistic I've put 0.69 BTCs for sale at about 150 USD each :v:
I've got 0.04 bitcoins. Lunch is paid for!
I'm going to kill whoever runs gox mark my words

Yet there's no mention of this anywhere on their website. That fucking deposit address is going to expire in a couple of hours and when it does, my bitcoins are going to be POOF

That's not my thread but I am in the same situation.
[editline]12th April 2013[/editline]
And I really shouldn't say "bitcoins" but it was like .02 which I was going to play karoshi with because that's just what I do

Would it be possible to mine bit/litecoins with a farm of rasberry pies?
Also, is novacoins not even more profitable (in the effort/return way)

The Raspberry Pi has the same graphics chip as the Samsung Galaxy Y. That's a definite no.
Novacoins don't have much market volume at all.

ARM11 is used in high-performance computing devices such as the Kindle, the original iPhone and the Nintendo 3DS.
So finally deposited 50$ on bitfloor, waiting for the right price to go to btc then ltc.
Can anyone help me out here? I'm new to trying out this bitcoin, and i seems really confusing to me.
I've already gotten an offline wallet (Multibit), and I want to put 100 DKK (Danish money) worth of bitcoins into that wallet, using my credit card.
Later I want to withdraw that money, when they've hopefully gained more value...
But what can I buy bitcoins with my credit card? And can I withdraw that money later in cash (DKK) from my bank?
I feel like there's a lot of different websites offering different deals, but I really can't see the meaning to this.
I also created an account at Mt.Gox, because I thought that is where I could buy some bitcoints... I think. Or is that just an online wallet?
Also, is there any website offering a good graph of the bitcoin value, so I know when to buy and sell? I can only find these dull and informative ones.
Any help apprecieated! :)

cant buy with credit card, transfer to bank acct or dwolla, buy from there.
Gox you can buy bc @, and sell on other sites, it doubles as another wallet i believe.
What are good thread and scantime settings for solo litecoin mining on a midrange crappy laptop?

This makes no sense...?
This makes no sense...?
You cannot buy from mtgox with a credit card, nor can you buy from them with a paypal.
If you want to buy, figure out a way to put money into a dwolla account, most used method is just adding a bank account, then transferring funds from bank to dwolla, then buying from mt gox..

Don't mine solo, especially on a crappy laptop, join a pool (although mining on a laptop is a bad idea)

Where can I find pools? I will probably use my desktop after a while, can I just store my wallet on dropbox?

You'll find a block in the next few years don't worry
So wants to send me 0.01 btc? I'll double it and send it back after a few hours.
[sp]Yeah, I fucked up.[/sp]

Id use Blockchain.info for a wallet, it'd be much simpler.
Try http://give-me-ltc.com/ or http://www.wemineltc.com/ for a litecoin pool.

I think he's talking about Anwar Sadat. He's hinting that if you use too much data, you'll be assassinated.

I use blockchain.info, and right now it's hanging while trying log in to my wallet. Not always the most reliable solution.

"Congrats, payment ordered!
You will get your 0.00000700 BTC in 9 to 10 hours!"
Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta.
Jesus christ this fucking sucks.
I was going to buy 250$ worth of bitcoins thismorning at 60$ each, and flip, but im still waiting on my bank account to get added to dwolla.
LOL BITCOINS ARE AT 130. I WOULD HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLED.
I made about $9 by investing $15 originally today. Imagine if I bought a whole coin this morning...

I was going to buy around 4-5 coins LOL.
I don't get why don't these sites allow credit cards. I have my own credit card (which is where my pay gets sent to) but there is no way my parents would let me get involved in this stuff bank wise. Also I do not want to even touch paypal.

Not to be rude, but lets see..
You steal a credit card, buy an anonymous currency.
Hmm how could that go wrong

You have your own credit card, but you can't do your own banking?? How does that even work
Is there any way to feasibly transfer paypal balance into dowlla..
You have your own credit card, but you can't do your own banking?? How does that even work
I could do my own banking if my parents were okay with it. I seriously doubt that they would like the idea of me spending/gambling my money on an unstable virtual currency.
