I'm pretty sure they still put orders through 4 times a day. You sold to them after the last bulk, so you have to wait until later today when they start again. Probably around 12.
[editline]14th April 2013[/editline]
The only way you can expect payments like that is with a direct P2P trade.
Check the Currency Exchange section on bitcointalk, or check out #bitcoin-otc.
[editline]14th April 2013[/editline]
Of course, you can always use BTC-e and then withdraw your USD to Moneybookers.
Or you can make a BTC-e code with your usd and someone here would probably trade paypal for it.
can you explain how BTC-E selling works?? Im slightly confused at it. For instance you make a sale order, and then what happens? Does btc -e buy it, or do they hook you up with a wanted buyer??
And what methods do they offer payout? Dwolla? Paypal?
[editline]14th April 2013[/editline]
Also just bought .91 bitcoins for 60$ :trololo:
can you explain how BTC-E selling works??
It works the same way any other exchange works. You put in a sell order, and if there is a matching buy order then you exchange whatever it is you were exchanging.
[editline]14th April 2013[/editline]
If, say, you put a 10BTC sell order in at at $91 and someone puts a 5BTC buy order in at $91, then you will receive 5BTC and your sell order will remain up until you sell 5 more.

Thanks for clearing that up i was slightly confused.
What methods do they accept for buying and paying out when selling bitcoins?? I currently have access to paypal and dwolla.
Can someone loan me 0.01btc? I'll send back 100% interest on it within 3 hours of being notified about it. I just need that small amount, no questions asked.

How to you send funds from BitInstant to BitStamp?
I like Bitstamp decently enough but they fuck you over on fees by doing traditional transfer methods unless you live in the EU or fund your account with MASSIVE amounts of money.
They give a bit-instant option through Bitstamp's website, which lets me use my verified dwolla account, but it appears that bit-instant only lets me send money to email, mtgox, or wherever and not Bitstamp?
So how do I use Bitinstant to get money to Bitstamp?

Dwolla access is good.
You can buy coins really quickly with dwolla through bitinstant.
CampBX is an exchange that has Dwolla support as well.
MtGox also has dwolla support, although you may have to verify your account and stuff first to use it.
As for BTC-e, you can withdraw to Moneybookers (Skrill), Liberty Reserve, or through a Wire transfer (minimum $1000).
You could also withdraw to Paypal, through bitinstant, but the fees are high. (9.0% + $1.00 incl. paypal fees)

This is why I suggest trying to trade with someone here or on bitcointalk. I'm sure there are some people who want USD into or out of BTC-e on here, and are willing to trust a facepunch member with Paypal.
Can someone tell me whats going to happen to the bitcoin value when the 33,000 supposed units of Butterfly Labs ACIS units come out? I want to buy one cause 30 bucks a day (5 GH/s) for a little 300$ unit seems amazing to me. But when the unit comes out the value of bit coin is going to plumet. And the era of GPU mining is going to die quickly... I want to buy one, but I would get it in 6 months meaning the value of bitcoin will be very low... is bitcointalk legitimate?? I feel like it would be an easy way to get scammed.
is bitcointalk legitimate?? I feel like it would be an easy way to get scammed.
It's a forum. There are scammers, just like there are scammers here. Trade with people that have been there a long time and have previous rep.
There are lots of legitimate users as well.

Actually, the difficulty is going to raise with a few million when the ASICs are out and mining, and you'll probably not get 30 bucks a day at all on a 5Gh/s ASIC.

Maybe just enough to pay off the unit in one month?
Once I get my paycheck and/or tax return, I'm going to get a tiny FPGA and try and work on a Litecoin miner. That'd be fun.
Maybe just enough to pay off the unit in one month?
If you get one early, I'm sure you could make quite a lot and easily pay off the unit in a month. But when there are over 3000 ASIC miners out there and growing, I dunno.

As difficulty increases, though, price per coin will also increase.

That is if they ever actually ship.
Do ASICs have a performance increase over FPGAs? Or are they just cheaper?
-Day 13 in the BTC-e Trollbox-
My mind is slowly slipping. I do not know right from wrong, up from down. My dreams, if any, are nothing but green and red candles flickering under a statue of the one they call Fontas.
My life-savings invested into Terracoins are stuck in limbo, and I do not when I will escape this god-forsaken pit. Should I go with or against the trolls? Or are the trolls actually not trolls but trying to pull me towards the light?
Don't go towards the light, because that's what they want, but don't stay in the darkness because it will consume you.
I hear the chants of the Chikun in the distance...
Any idea why people are dumping wallets on this site? There is quite a few that haven't been opened in a long time, someone on the IRC tried one out and got almost 7 BTC in there, people are going crazy!
Here's an example, unused as of yet, wonder if anyone can get lucky?

I need a beginners guide on bitcoins and wallets and stuff. I've got GUIMiner and a ABCPool, but apparently I need to download a wallet? I seem quite confused
Also yes I have a nvidia card sue me I don't care I want to at least MAKE something while I be useless on my computer
also soon I'll be getting hopefully an ATI card so that'll be even greater.
anyways, what's this wallet I need to download? and can you guys recommend pools/programs to use?
I read the OP, it's informative but doesn't help me that much
You need to download a bitcoin client for a wallet.
Fuck Bitcoins, buy gold right now.
It's dropping like a rock :v:
As difficulty increases, though, price per coin will also increase.
Now might be a good time to invest?
Where can I see live graphs and statistics of BitCoin? Also, is there a thread for other investments, like gold?

BFL is scam
And if they appear not to be scam, which is unlikely, by the time they ship it 5gh/s won't mean much at all.
I'd rather avoid BitInstant's 10+% fees and I figured someone here might want it so..
Anyone want to trade my $35 BTCe code for $35 PPUSD? PM me.
Do ASICs have a performance increase over FPGAs? Or are they just cheaper?
They have a performance increase over FPGAs
If I had my bank linked to Mt Gox, I would be trading right now.

Not investing and sitting on it, short trades. 2-3 hours, probably.
