Found a video clip of me lol.

I'm pretty sure I have a bigger part in the full movie because the guy was literally filming me for about 2 hours total.
And then the metal heats up and burns you, and you have to replace the cloth almost daily because it burns to the point that it will just fly off
If you're gonna do shit like this, you do it with professional setups. Nobody in their right mind would actually use cloth as opposed to kevlar, especially during a show because the risk of a flaming cloth flying off is so high.
Kevlar is cloth. And good luck geting a 3 foot length of chain to heat up enough to burn you. If your cloth is burning you aren't winding it tight enough.

No, Kevlar is a wick. Cloth would be something like a shirt. The Kevlar will be usable for a while before you have to replace it, and it won't fly off. The cloth will eventually be burnt to the point that it will loosen up and fly off.
"cloth - fabric: artifact made by weaving or felting or knitting or crocheting natural or synthetic fibers"
sorry kevlar is what now

Kevlar is the registered trademark for a light, strong para-aramid synthetic fiber, related to other aramids such as Nomex and Technora.
No fire juggler would refer to kevlar as cloth.
But it is cloth. Unless you're literally talking about wrapping something in kevlar fibers, it's cloth.
And technically White Gas is petroleum, not Coleman Fuel.
Again, no real fire juggler would refer to kevlar as cloth.
Uhh sounds to me like pretension. NO REAL COUNTER STRIKE PLAYER WOULD EVER PLAY IN A PUB. Also the use of "real fire juggler". And my point still stands; It's cloth. Just because you're an ignorant tool and want to sound like a real boy doesn't change the definition.

Wow, seriously? It's true. Anybody who's juggled fire aside from fucking around in their yard knows that kevlar is not a cloth, it's a fucking wick.
I don't really see the talent in fire breathing/blowing/whatever, it just doesn't make sense as to why it would make someone think "wow that must be so hard". Is there something I'm not seeing that makes it so hard to blow some liquid at a fire?
I tried it with alcohol once at a party, because if I'm not the center of attention I'm doing it wrong.
So um, yeah. Pain is hard. Was the center of attention for a long while though. (No eyebrows)
Pretty awesome.
Hi Alex Gold.

Yeah, that's because the flashpoint of alcohol is much different from the flashpoint of kerosene\lamp oil, so it will ignite much faster. I almost did it with white gas by mistake, but the smell made me realize I was about to fuck shit up.

And they are all wrong.
wick - any piece of cord that conveys liquid by capillary action
cord = a line made of twisted fibers or threads
spoilers: cord is just cloth but a different shape.
Also you still have yet to give any reason other than that it's commonly accepted lingo, which just means neither of us are wrong.

Spoilers: You're arguing it's a cloth, not a cord. There's a difference.
It's just woven fibers.
No, it isn't. You keep using the same argument even though I keep shooting it down, just get out of the damn thread.
How about you quit fucking bitching about it.

Kevlar is the registered trademark for a light, strong para-aramid synthetic fiber, related to other aramids such as Nomex and Technora.
Synthetic fibers are the result of extensive research by scientists to improve upon naturally occurring animal and plant fibers.
Fiber, also spelled fibre, is a class of materials that are continuous filaments or are in discrete elongated pieces, similar to lengths of thread.
Sounds like cloth.
But you never shot my argument down. I fail to see how kevlar isn't a cloth.

Upload some pics of YOU spitting fire, and you'll shut all of us up.
Until then, you shush.

He did on page one, but his picture is pretty contradictory to the "marks off" he was giving me (loose clothing, leaning towards the fire, etc).
Still isn't an excuse to do what he's doing. And I talked to a bunch of my friends who juggle fire. None of them have heard of kevlar being considered cloth. Not even the company I get my stuff from has heard of it being called cloth.
That's because it's referred to as kevlar.
That's because it's referred to as kevlar.
According to him, because of the process of it being made, kevlar is a cloth. It isn't though.
