Jesus tits I had a really well written post and it vanished into the abyss To sum it up, Facepunch taught me most of what I know. Shit's good.
Facepunch helped me realize that the internet is a terrible place and it's best to choose the least awful community and stick with it [editline]9th October 2013[/editline] Which, I guess, is Facepunch
Made me less naive, got me into kinky porn.
Helped me realize being a brony is probably the worst thing to do, so it helped me stop, even though my title says otherwise.
Facepunch made me a god in postponing work and getting away with it. Feels great.
Facepunch taught me that no one on the internet cares about your opinion, they just consider it (sometimes). I also stopped typing like a fucking retard and learned what a grammatically correct sentence was. It also helped me learn what a true sense of community is. Wait. Scratch that second part. :v:
It helped me being such a fucking retard. Shit! I mean it helped me stop being such a fucking retard.
It taught me a valuable lesson about time management.
It landed me a job in the NSA because this site is full of so many terrorists. All I have to do is once a week pick a poster I don't like, and they get visited by the men in black!
Showed me blah therapy, where my self esteem was given a platform to stand on. Before that, I couldn't stand the sight of myself, ever.
I used to be a dumb egosentrical meme weeaboo kid until I came to Facepunch back in '09 Now I'm a left-winged socialist know-it-all with a taste for dick jokes.
made me realize lots of people on facepunch are pedantic and overly opinionated assholes
it helped me be socially awkward and judgemental of people in middle school now thanks to me judging people on facepunch im a chill and friendly guy!! thanks facepunch
Facepunch taught me a lot of shit, somehow. Computer-related or not. It is also one of the least-awful communities on the internet, believe it or not.
Smartness system saved me from being a fucking annoying "lol xD" person. Which at the same time has made me a cynical jackass. Thanks FP.
Grammar, and it nudged me into the right direction for lots of hobbies (like using Photoshop, even if it was to put peoples heads in weird places back then) which is now even part of my working life.
Helped improve my grammar and got me interested in digital art and airsoft
Facepunch taught me a lot of shit, somehow. Computer-related or not. It is also one of the least-awful communities on the internet, believe it or not.
This. And I do realize I am sort of new here but the people are nice. It also help that I got in before the invite system was in place. Fuck it. I like this place
I found some cool new artists in the music subforum and some cool new movies in the F&T subforum. That's about it.
Helped me realize how silly liberals are. Oh, as well as raging at tanks (WoT) and building a hatred for artillery.
Helped me be a better and smarter person on the internet.
Helped me not make dumb posts.

When smartness was here, it helped me not be a fucking retard all the time.
Basically this. I went from no grammar, shit-spelling on weird subforums and flaming people because I didn't like them (I was like 12 or younger) to being obsessive about proper spelling and clean posts. Thank you, Smartness! You were good, but still thought "cleaver" was a misspelling of "clever."
helped me steer clear of people who watch anime since i know how fucking weird they are
Helped me not make dumb posts. I shit you not, not even a month before I joined i was making posts like "lol xD"
Holy shit, has facepunch helped stomp the retard in me. I used to actually think "4 teh LULZ xd" was funny. I hate younger me.
Before I was a FPer I liked Xfire, excessive emoticons, bad spelling on purpose, shitty meme macros and LOLCATZ If I had a time machine I would go back in time and punch my child self multiple times
It has helped me with grammar also. I never use to capitalize or use commas until I started here.
It has helped me with grammar also. I never use to capitalize or use commas until I started here.
a lot of people type like this though so they can be different [editline]9th October 2013[/editline] like me sometimes
a lot of people type like this though so they can be different [editline]9th October 2013[/editline] like me sometimes
As stupid as it sounds, nobody would reply or rate my post until I started capitalizing my sentences.
Facepunch taught me the art of procrastination.
Helped me stop being a raging atheist neckbeard.
