Made me not think like a retard, and made me not feel special, also made me absolutely hate anything with my parents.
fp didant xDDD
It's taught me not to post, just lurk and you'll be safe.
Facepunch helped me on my journey to become a sick E-Sports pro gamer.
don't forget your sick Razerâ„¢ gear
Gave me a place to talk to other people into tech and got me to try Linux.
I've posted here before, but I never talk to anyone on Facepunch regularly but it still gives me a feeling of belonging I get from nowhere and nothing else
I come here everyday but i never post somehow i like reading what other users think of different stuff.
Also got a bunch of free game here now and then and one time i made an report about war and Facepunch help me allot with info, news and photos.
Helped me learn proper grammar, and how to speak English properly. Talking spanish at first, and learning english at the same time has its downsides. Plus, got me out of the closet, and made me understand a lot of things better.
Like with many others, FP taught me proper spelling and grammar. Facepunch also taught me I'm a moron who should keep his mouth shut for majority of the time.
Its brainwashed me to believe in liberalism values and ron paul.
I learned how to make a horse skull into a helmet/headdress
But telling me how to deactivate the FN key was too complicated for facepunch.
It's made me even more entrenched in my own artistic and political opinions.
It made me able to procrastinate much more efficiently
I first came out on these forums, and the community helped me from there on out, and now I'm out of the closet to everyone I know for the most part.
And it helped me with my writing skills, considering I've typed around 5,000 posts, I'd imagine the "practice" helped me in some way.
Facepunch serves as an outlet. I used to really like Facepunch when there was a LGBT and Love Advice subforum.
But now it's just okay. There isn't much interesting stuff going on.
I still make dumb posts, purposefully, I think it's funny nobody catches on to that.
Facepunch has helped to develop my sense of humor past pewdiepie-level stuff. I guess growing out of that stuff is natural when you get older but I still credit you guys for letting me see what I've been missing.
It helped me by showing me that everyone is different and from the get go gets dealt a hand of cards different from everyone else. Also it's interesting reading posts from people all around the world simply for their transformative perspectives on this thing we share and call life.
facepunch motivated me to start working out (not to loose weight just to be stronger)
