I want to do a soviet spets load out.
soviet spets? you mean the tactical green pajama loadout :v:
Yeah that. Or a regular.
I love the regular loadout for rossia the ssh68 has the best suspension system ever [editline]28th December 2011[/editline] I would never trade it out for any helmet ever
Except they actually look cool while being generic.
I like Russian loadouts as much as the next guy, but gorka+smersh+AK+welding mask is just as generic and 'operator' as ACU+crossdraw+M4+PASGT. The only reason it isn't hated with the same elitist fervor is that, being non-NATO, it's more expensive and consequently rarer. Do something creative with a Russian loadout- where are the tank crewmen, Russian Naval Infantry, or Afghanistan loadouts? What about the cool fictional loadouts like in STALKER, or real contemporary ones from the South Ossetia conflict? Instead it's generic Spetsnaz this, generic Army that, and what are otherwise utterly formulaic kits are treated as the holy grail of military fashion just for being Russian.
woww well don't i feel awesome for spending this dosh on what is now apparently generic
If you go on Red Alliance you'll see lots of Cold War era kit and some South Ossetia loadouts. But it's still for the most part generic Spetsnaz. The rarest loadouts on there seem to be current Ground Forces and Naval Infantry.
Sure they may be generic, but rossia loadouts are rare. Still better than a US opperadur in my opinion, unless everyone and their mother starts one. Sure that may be the case in IFAP, but half of us are chairsofters anyway.
The Russia loadout i had planned out was a Red Dawn one. Nice and simple, pretty cheap for Rossia stuff, but still cool.
The loadout example I posted that I want to do is a soldier from the recon battalion of an armored division. That's something that's never been done in Rossia loadouts as far as I know.
Russian Naval Infantry
im trYING to ok
im trYING to ok
You need a 6Sh92-5 for that and they're sold out forever :v:

they're generic as you can get among the inherently not generic rossia loadouts
woww well don't i feel awesome for spending this dosh on what is now apparently generic
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your gear- when I say generic I don't mean bad, ACU loadouts are definitely generic but are every bit as practical. After all, it's meant to be functional, not just a fashion show. But what I keep seeing here is this: -someone posts PMC/ACU gear- reply 1: cool loadout reply 2: crossdraws are bad, get a better vest reply 3: nice stuff there -someone posts flora- reply 1: omfg awesome reply 2: can I bear your children reply 3: *splurt* ...And as cool as Russian gear is, the fact is that it's being obsessed over solely because it's Russian, and so people aren't going after the rarer or more interesting ideas. I fully expect we're going to see more and more in the next few years, as teams of such gear become more prevalent.
oh ye whoevers getting that $50 kzm oversuit from ebair pls review
What is a fairly inexpensive (under $100) vest/chest rig/whatever that will look good with flora?
something like this? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_172&products_id=6916
something like this? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_172&products_id=6916
Kinda. I was thinking of just getting an SKS grab bag for now until I can get my hands on smersh.
If you want, I have an extra 7 pocket rig (the one that fits STANAGS and AK mags) from the grab bag. I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping. I have so many of these fucking things.
