Every now and again they make past shirts available again. Or they may do a random shirt day, where you can get a random shirt from the past.
Tomorrow's shirt, Droid Berg:

Available at 12 AM EST. Basically, in 10 minutes.
these shirts are so nerdy/gay
nerdy? You're on Facepunch. And as far as I know shirts don't have a sexual preference (By that I mean in terms of sexual encounters).
My friend has the Doctor Who shirt.
Where I get a lot of my shirts, fuck stores.

Oh and just to expand on the OP, here's a site where it shows the 8 shirts for that day.
http://www.teemagnet.com/
Oh what would I have done without tee magnet.
doesn't make any sense economically to only have shirts for sale for one day
say you order 200 shirts, and only 50 people buy the shirt that day, that's a lot of leftover stock
there was a different company that a facepuncher made that was like this but he failed miserably and started extending how long the shirts would stay up and lowering the prices
The reason why these shirts are great is because they're so nerdy.

I think they do all printing themselves. They take a count of all the orders, print that many shirts and then ship them out. You could send them an e-mail or whatever and ask 'em how it works.
I knew a guy who printed shirts for a living. He'd have the designs, make a mock-up of what the shirt would look like and then get orders. He never made more than he had to.
I thought it was titled TeeFurry, and was expecting a huge shitstorm about furries. Then I saw the bird icon, and expected it even more.
But then I was happy that it wasn't.
I'm gonna buy a shirt if there's one I like enough.
i wouldn't wear most of these shirts anyway, because while i like the humor of the designs and such, i wouldnt want to look like "that nerd" who wears shirts with video games and star wars jokes on them

Never wear video game shirts. Unless they actually are a game that people give two shits about, which means no Halo or Call of Duty shirts.
I could use a new shirt...

Don't you know anything about how user-uploaded/designed clothing websites work?

Seriously, get some common sense. ._.
uh. yeah. what im saying is it doesnt make sense economically to sell a design for only one day. no sense at all. i'm saying you have a design coming up in a week, you order 100 shirts to be printed, and don't even come close to selling them all by the time the day is up. even if you print the shirts after they've been ordered so there aren't any extra, why not just leave the design up and continue selling until demand dies down? it doesn't make any sense.
and what the fuck, those links didn't have anything to do with what we're talking about, nor did they prove your point or anything

and i think i would know a bit about clothing companies; i co-own one. scroll down a little in GD. "Dusty Lumber"? yeah.
I missed this one by a day?!

Dammit! It's FANTASTIC. I can't believe it.
Holy shit
9$ shipping to Germany isn't even that bad... I might consider buying one some time.

Dusty Lumber clothing isn't designed by users.
The websites I linked to are all basically explanations and examples of how such websites work.
They do not order a specific number of any design to be printed on shirts coming up to when the design goes up on their site. They publish the design, take the orders submitted over the 24hr time frame, and then print that exact number on their own screen-printers.
It's funny, this has been explained to you more or less three times now. You shouldn't be so flippant, it doesn't work well if you're gonna skim other posts.
They make make the shirts as the orders come in.
I think you should be able to special request a design from the archive. I'd be willing to pay a bit more rather than not be able to get that shirt again ever (If they decide not to run it again, and even if they do, when?).

They never run one design more than one time. ;o

right, what i'm saying is that even though it's printed on demand, it doesn't make any sense to do it that way. certain shirts will have much higher demand than others and you won't be able to buy it unless you have the money that day. you're forcing yourself to make less money by only selling a design for one day.
This is still my favorite.

Is that a .... STARGATE T-SHIRT?
I think the other reference in that picture is Dr. Who, but I never watched the show. Guess in the dark, can anyone verify?

Although i doubt it makes up for the loss of income from people who want to buy old shirts, the one day only thing would pressure more people into buying it if they really like the design.
FFFF i want the zoiddroid shirt, but it won't let me add to cart!
Most of these shirts need to be reprinted. I guess they just don't like making money or being successful.
My sister got me this shirt for Christmas from TeeFury....I think it's pretty cool:
