That wasn't what you were saying, you've omitted your incorrect assumption in this version and slyly tried to gloss over it. =p
As for that, it's arguable. It's likely that some not-so-great shirts do much better because people who kind of want them snap them up since they're on a limited-time sale. And the really good shirts would bring in thousands of buys. The issue of demand over time doesn't really apply since TeeFury's customer base know how the website work and probably give it a glance each day. They may be losing sales from people who have just discovered the site, but that doesn't really matter since they'll still be raking in the cash from newer designs, and the newcomers will bookmark them and check the homepage in case they miss another shirt they want. It's a clever way of running things.
Also, if you want a shirt that's been and gone from TeeFury, just get it from another user-design clothing site. One of TF's hooks is that the user keeps the rights to the work, so you can bet that if someone designs a shirt they'll put it on more sites than just TF.
