I'm turned off solely by the fact that it looks exactly like a MINECRAFT SONG PARODY!!!! video whose views consist completely of eight year olds. No matter how it actually turns out to be, youtube has ruined that style for me completely.

This looks like one of those terrible foreign knockoffs of the Lego movie. I wonder if the Telltale engine will still be stuttery as fuck even with the simplified graphics Patton, this is why you shouldn't take internet breaks

If this ends up getting a second season (because this WILL sell like hotcakes) and Tales from the Borderlands doesn't I will riot.

Just typing that sentence out alone makes me insanely curious. I can understand the hate or dislike, but it isn't effecting you in any way that it exists. Saying "I hope this bombs hard" and shit like that makes no sense. Anyone else getting Lego Movie vibes from this? I thought the same thing when I saw trailers for that, but then I ended up loving the shit out of it. Hope the same is true for this.

Dear god it's ugly. If it wasn't minecraft and had an art style fit for a story, then maybe it'd be interesting. Also I remember hearing of a story mode before I stopped playing, wasn't it supposed to be actual gameplay where blocks were indestructible? putting a super serious, "epic" scale plot into minecraft is a godawful idea why didn't they focus it as like a simple survival scenario that slowly builds up into an overarching plot that focuses on the actual minecraft world, not whatever this shit is

More time spent on this piece of shit is less time spent on things we actually want such as The Wolf Among Us, Tales From the Borderlands and Sam and Max.

At least they're using actual assets and not pastiches of everything or some sort of more 'realistic interpretation'. But that just makes it look like some SFM or Blender movie or something instead.
