Listening to DSOTM now. Trying to convince a friend of mine to do a report on it for her freshman comp. class. Assignment is to pick an album and peel it apart - muusically, lyrically, and concept-wise, and explain/express it.

I've got a longsleeve and short sleeve of that, a Hammers shirt, a shirt with the original cover to the movie version of The Wall, and a Pulse shirt :smug:

The projection of the wall shattering into a psychadelic vision during the solo is beautiful. Almost as good as the giant mirror ball.

I wouldn't call it him being afraid as much as Pink just totally giving up. If you watch the movie, he's just slumping in the recliner, not responding to anything.
