Sorry, I hadn't taken a shit for two days straight.
Also :foxnews:
I somehow doubt it'll be twisted into anti-abortion pro-guns shit just because it's on fox
jesus christ you guys
Meth lab was in this house.
It was a gas-leak. No one was home, and no one was severely injured or killed. The house is completely burned down, and the neighbor's house is partly scorched.
I'm going to bed, now. I promise I'll get pictures in soon.
Pics pl0x. Seeing pictures of fire is fun. Sucks for the home owners though.

At this point, I can get no pictures of the fire, itself. I can get a picture of the aftermath coming home from school tomorrow, however.
According to Fairfax County Deputy Fire Chief Chuck Ryan, one house has been destroyed by what officials believe to be a natural gas explosion. The occupants were not home at the time, and there are no reported injuries or deaths. Two adults and two children have been displaced.
Two houses on either side have sustained substantial damages from the force of the explosion. Washington Gas officials are on the scene to determine where the explosion originated. Gas officials are still looking for an outside gas leak. Officials estimate that this investigation will take another hour.
Although the smell of gas is present in the streets, there is no danger to the neighboring residents, and those whose homes were undamaged have been allowed to return to their houses for the night.
Yes OP will go and somehow help because he's totally a trained person and can fix gas leaks after a house has exploded. I bet you're one of these idiots that stands around gawping at an accident rather than pissing off and letting people who know what they're doing do their job.
Thats exactly what happend in my subdivison last year anyone remeber that?
Same happened last week just 12 km from me...
read title as:

Would have been equally newsworthy, if not more.
when i read "just exploded" i thought something like bombs planted in there and BOOM stuff flying everywhere.
That sucks, right before Christmas too
Well, that was pretty intense!
It's about 9:00 PM right now, and I just came back from a house that just exploded into flames, down our street.
I was in my living room, browsing on the computer, when suddenly, all the walls shook, followed by a powerful boom. My family thought something fell down, upstairs, but when I went up there, everything was normal. A couple minutes passed, and sirens began blitzing down our street, one after the other. I went outside, and a couple of neighbors were standing outside their houses. I asked what happened and they said they didn't know. They, too, felt a large boom, and went outside to see what it was. Me, being my adventurous self, went down the street to see what it was. I turn the corner to see the sky a dark orange, with smoke flaring upwards. I go closer, and the house on our corner had caught on fire. At least a dozen firetrucks, police cars, and ambulances each were parked at the scene. We're not exactly what caused the fire yet, but there was a bunch of utility trucks there, the night before.
I'll try to get some pictures in, if I can. I'm going to try and see why the fire was started.
Keep you posted, FP.
Edit:
Speculations say it was a gas-leak, caused by the workers from yesterday tampering with the line. Nothing is confirmed, yet.

On-Topic: Did anyone die?
I once accidentally left my natural gas stove on. The only thing that prevented my house from blowing up and killing me was my dog, whom woke me up and lead me to a very strange smell ( The kind of flavored gas smell ) to find that the knob on the stove was turned on a little bit so it was leaking natural gas..

The victims of the fire were saved because they were going out for dinner. They only go out to dinner about twice a year. The couple and their child are now living across the street from where their house was.
News article updated, as well.
Ruben E. Rodriguez**, Director of Corporate Communications for Washington Gas, says that the investigation for the source of the gas leak is still underway. However, the neighbors do have gas at their homes.
The Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department Public Information Office confirmed that the house *that exploded, which was valued at $400,000, is now a total loss. The American Red Cross is assisting the family that lost its home.
Updates will be provided as more information is obtained.
