If the FBI really was the bloodthirsty gestapo like these fucks tried to convince themselves and everyone else they are, everyone would've been dead two weeks ago because drones and snipers would've fucked them over. And even if somehow violence only occurred now, they'd just send in a drone to fuck up everyone and everything in a 5-yard radius of the tent they're camped in, and that'd be the end of it.
The problem is, that logic only works in the real world for people like you and me who keep all four limbs in contact with reality all the time. These people live somewhere else, with very different notions of how the world supposedly works.
Note to self: If you take somebody's property by force, but clean it up real nice, you have done nothing wrong.

Thing is, the 2014 Nevada rancher standoff against the BLM, led by Cliven Bundy (father of now-in-solitary-confinement Ammon Bundy, leader of these band of fuckwits), [B]had zero consequences[/B] for the ranchers who pointed guns at FBI. Pointing a firearm at a federal agent is a federal felony, but no charges were laid because the government defused the situation by letting it sputter out and just [I]end[/I] with nothing happening.
That set the expectation that the Feds are toothless and weak and can be beaten with a show of force.
Taking over a frozen-ass nature preserve in Winter because two guys were sent to jail to finish the rest of their sentences because a judge screwed up and didn't order them to a long enough jail term (and those guys [B]said they didn't want the occupation to happen in their names[/B]) is not the same thing and hasn't gone as well as the idiots planned, because the FBI learned the lessons of their inaction in the 2014 standoff.

I don't really wish to rain on your parade here, but only two years ago a man by the name of Marvin Louis Guy, ended up striking four fully kitted out officers during a no-knock raid on his home. He ended up killing one of them, even when they were returning fire.
It is not uncommon for LEOs to be killed in raids on houses and the like.
So... why aren't they surrendering now?
I have to wait for the morning to see how it's been resolved?

I mean, they are misguided, but not in a hilarious way. These people are legitimately dangerous and are Sovereign Citizens. They don't deserve to die, but they're completely unhinged and are a danger to themselves and the FBI agents trying to take them in.
