I always assumed it was data, electrical currents from the robots and their city. His strange connection with the matrix means he is able to see it. But the connection itself I have yet to figure out how that even works.

Maybe its because he was grown? Something happened to him during his creation and his mind was able to interface remotely with all machines on a different level.
Maybe... [sp]he is ressurected, but he can only live in the matrix, and everyone wants to bring him back to life, and THATS the plot of the film![/sp]
Neo died?
The third movie was me going "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."
If there going to make a movie it should either be a prequel or something far enough in the future that I don't have to deal with most of the characters all over again. The first was really good and they should go back to that style.
Why are people still using spoiler tags for Neo's death? The movie is 8 years old ffs, get with the times. :v:

Because still not everyone has seen it.
It's considered a common courtesy, part of being nice.
Something you should learn.
I actually don't remember Neo dying.
You know, despite people going on about how shit the sequels were, The Matrix Reloaded actually had some pretty good reviews, I believe it holds a 75-9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The only truly 'bad' film in the series is the last one.

[sp]the dinosaurs in jurassic park escape the enclosures[/sp]
why is everyone saying neo is dead
i distinctly remember hearing the oracle saying that neo would be back soon at the end of revolutions
Has anyone else realised that The Matrix alludes to Jewish Zionism?

DAMMIT! WHY DID I CLICK THE SPOILER TAG!?
caps
Has anyone else realised that The Matrix alludes to Jewish Zionism?
Well, I think that the Wachowski Brothers are Jewish...
Hasn't the world realized that the Matrix got really dumb after the first movie?
AFTER the first movie?
AFTER the first movie?
u didnt like the first movie?
I liked the first movie but the shallow philosophizing was pretty dumb
It's not the intelligent film that ponytailed film nerds like to think it is. It's good on a superficial level--choreography, editing, visual style--not on a substantive one.
it wasn't that bad but either way IT IS A VERY GOOD FILM so
I never thought the Matrix was a deep film but it's still grand

Low expectations will take you a long way, when I saw it when I was a little kid I was like this is the coolest movie of all time holy shit
Then I saw it years later and I was like wow I don't remember this being so dumb :C
[sp]Well the program said they maybe seeing Neo one day[/sp]
Since Neo died in real life maybe they take his brain and bring it into the Matrix again or some really stupid shit like that.
Keanu is also working on the bebop movie, isn't he?

Yeah like the kiss saving Neo at the end, dumbest scene in the film easily.
The kiss did not save Neo...Neo was 'the one', and that's what saved him.
Neo was an anomaly in the matrix.
The real world was just another Matrix.
The Kid is the next Neo.
Am I the only one who thought they should've left the first film well the fuck alone?
The sequels were terrible. The only thing that doesn't make it blindingly obvious that they are terribly shit films is a ridiculous budget to splurge on effects.
i kind of agree and i actually see it that way. i see the matrix as the main movie and the two sequels as like spinoffs or something completely unrelated to the original matrix.
i wouldn't mind more matrix shit to come out, it's decent entertainment what more can i say
