You die, your consiousness disappears and you'll be gone forever. No magic reincarnation, no ghosts, no heaven, just nothigness for all eternity. It sucks.
Lies. How does it suck if your brain can't tell you that it sucks.
I say we get stuck in a blue screen of death, forever!!! :(
Thats how a computer would see death... Poor computers...
Personally, I have no idea. I do hope there is a place where we all go when we die.
We die, good people go to heaven bad people go to hell, the end.
It will happen to me as it does to everyone. I don't know what it will be like, how it will happen, or when. It's not that important or spectacular in that respect. Lots of things are like that. It seems it'll be the last thing I do, so that makes it interesting. But there's really no reason for me to ascribe ideas to something I cannot define.
I think when I die is, I would go through time. Like I would want to battle with the romans or some this, and then fight with George Washington. Just like Battle through the ages is what my death be like or B Live any part of your life again and change stuff around, but you couldn't come back alive, like, I't be like you made a movie and then sent i't to the movie theater, that be when your alive, and when you go back and watch the movie, you could change things around but since you already sent a final copy to the theater you cant do nothing about it. So like, you could always remake choices. Like. instead of giving away that comic when you were 7 you would of kept it and waited. Like if you died at a young age from a car crash or something you could be able to choose another path and watch yourself live again and live the rest of your life fully
I'd like to think we just become memories, being able to shift and move through time and space. But of course, it'll be like sleeping with no wake. Always scares me to think about death.
I just also thought of something, what if we all DIED BEFORE!? and this is just our reborn bodies, in our past lives we could of been like a dinosaur or a bird of a fish or another human, this just could be our reborn bodies!
Death is a violet light and a hum. WHAT AM I REFERENCING?
If you die high are you high in heaven
Death is a fucking release from whatever the fuck kind of world this is. I don't even give a shit if it's heaven or blackness anything better then living in this cesspit of a fucking world. People treat you like shit and everyone that has control over anything doesn't give two shits about the little guy and would sell out to whoever can give them a reach around and a couple million. Life isn't worth living, but it isn't worth killing yourself to figure out if it really is better to be dead. I just hope it's better there.
i don't know if you've ever heard of a little play called Hamlet... But i think it's perfect for you
I think it's an opening into a new realm of sorts. A new existence, a new journey.
Nobody knows, but if there was one, I would go with a theory similar to the Divine Comedy.
I say it's a great big OIFY in the sky.
I say it's a great big OIFY in the sky.
I shall differ Heaven: Facepunch Studios Hell: OIFY
I shall differ Heaven: Facepunch Studios Hell: OIFY
The thing is that the OIFY is in the Studios of Facepunch, so...Hell is in Heaven? Off-topic: is anyone getting the annoying "You're not logged in" page every time you try to reply or preview your post?
We die, good people go to heaven bad people go to hell, the end.
People said it because they don't want to accept the fact that when people die, we die.
Just like you don't remember not living right now, it's just how you don't remember living. That's what death is like.
I shall differ Heaven: Facepunch Studios Hell: OIFY
Heaven: Something Awful Purgatory: Facepunch Hell: 4chan
People said it because they don't want to accept the fact that when people die, we die.
Religion was created at a time in man's history when understanding the world was impossible, thus they created mysticism and faith to give an explanation to the unknown. Basically now is the time for the Human race to drop religion and move onto solving the questions, rather than answering them with impossibilities.
Let's send a space probe into death to see what it's like. :downs:
we could be dead right now..this could be the after life... IS THIS REAL LIFE!?
we could be dead right now..this could be the after life... IS THIS REAL LIFE!?
All praise the messiah, for he has shown us the way.. of uncertainty?
we could be dead right now..this could be the after life... IS THIS REAL LIFE!?
You should read the Waking Sleep or something like that, it talks about that exact thing.
When you die, all nerve activity ceases in you brain. You don't think, feel, see, hear, smell or taste anything. All theories of an afterlife have no credibility.
Multiverse? Why would there be an infinite amount of Universes following the exact same plotline? They would most likely break off into another near infinite amount of Universes, making it so that you eventually live your life through every single possible action you could have performed.
But accepting Multiverses means accepting that there are multiple universes out there where people don't even die, so in those universes "you" are immortal :D
But accepting Multiverses means accepting that there are multiple universes out there where people don't even die, so in those universes "you" are immortal :D
There is a theory that our brains may actually be coded into the multiverse. This would explain Deja Vu, "After-Life", and many other strange psychological phenomenons.
ITT: Let's just kill ourselves and find out! :D
My only regret about death being perfect nothingness and unexistance is that I won't get to say "I told you so." But really, this thread makes me rage. No one has any sense about what is physically POSSIBLE. The laws of physics don't change after you die. You are not special. When you die, you are dead. It is EXACTLY like before you were born. Get over it.
when you die, its the same as before you were born have fun contemplating that edit: god damn it poster right above me
