That would be really weird...
Anyways I've basically come to the conclusion to NOT think about this, but I end up thinking about it anyways. My theory is that we die, and are reincarnated. Why? I don't know. It's just one of those thing's I've decided to keep as my answer. It's not like I'm a hardcore believer in religion or anything, actually I don't even think my religion promises anything in the afterlife.. but yeah I just feel for the moment, reincarnation is the answer to this question when I get asked it.
One day when they really figure out what happens, well then I'll believe in that.. Whether there's nothing, or some sort of afterlife.. We'll see..
Or this could just end up being one of those things that never get answereed. Ever.
Reincarnation is the same thing as nothingness, either way you have no recollection of before.
I think it all just kinda fades to black...like you run out of "battery juice"

That is what death is like.

No it isn't. We can label and perceive black. It's still there. It's not black, it's NOTHING.
Reincarnation is the same thing as nothingness, either way you have no recollection of before.
I suppose that's true. But their also different.. If you were to take the term 'soul' than I guess it could be applied here. Two human beings (or non-human such as an animal, plant whatever) that have nothing to do with eachother, yet are the same being.. That's kind of what I see reincarnation as.. I might have it wrong. But essentially, it's like you're born as a new person with no recollection whatsoever but you still share the same entity or soul or whatever.
I think I'm confusing myself now :(
If youd really like to know what death is like, go to a hospital and have them put you under anesthetics. Your ears will make this hum noise as they inject them, your eyes go blurry, and then thats it, next thing you know the doctors are waking you up.
Only in death you never wake up.

Now I'm thinking about this. What can we label NOTHING as. By labeling it nothing, it's something? Or am I just being stupid. You can't just say it's like.. black.. or something.. That's for sure..
Look at it this way.. If the universe, space itself other universes, EVERYTHING was to disappear, become nothing, what would there be?
There would have to be something, I guess. Thats what makes me think there is something after death, using that sort of logic.
I don't think any of us can say, but I'm not scared of dying but whats after, maybe we ALL goto hell maybe we will all goto heaven is scares me...
You're about to find out. *pats axe*
I personally believe that you turn into a ghost and you can haunt people, explore the planet/galaxy,etc.
:ghost:
Basically anything you want (maybe even have ghostly sex :q:)

Indeed. Nothing is merely a concept of non-existence. It's a harrowing concept, but it's necessary. Without that concept, we wouldn't have a zero, or even binary code.
"Nothing ever really dies. Simply...transforms"
Cant remember what that movie was called but it had Keanu Reeves :v:
well i think that when we die, we can look at our body and laugh "HAHAH FAIL"
but no, seriously, I think that we end up as spirits. We have to have a spirit. I mean, we shouldn't just die and turn to dust or whatever, because when you think of it, there has to be something else....
We will cease to exist in all forms.
I don't think any of us can say, but I'm not scared of dying but whats after, maybe we ALL goto hell maybe we will all goto heaven is scares me...
i think thats how most people feel. If we knew what was to happen after death, we wouldnt be so afraid....unless it was bad
I think it's logical to say that seeing as I am here now, this same existence could be recreated and is possible after death.
Even if there is a period of nonexistence succeeding death, is it not reasonable to say that through that nonexistence your existence "appeared" previously? And through that spark you are intrinsically guaranteed a life after death?
It's like sleeping but without dreams...

Your question is contradictory. There wouldn't be anything.

There (in my opinion) is absolutely nothing after death.
Biologically your mind no longer exists.

You die. You decompose. Some bacteriaz eat you up and you grow into a new person from the bacteriaz.
Who the fuck rated me dumb?
I'm going to kill you.
Dead.
you die and you go see god it well be good
IMO when you die, the shit will start over again, like a respawn but instead of popping up in a room, you pop out of a vagina, and have no memories of the past, and you can respawn as anyone anywhere in the world.
Lifeless.

Is there any particular reason why you think that?
I can say with clear conscience and in all honesty... that I have had 2 memorable experiences that I cannot otherwise explain except being near-death / out-of-body experiences.
There was a period in my life in which I was undergoing very deep depression and was searching for the purpose of my existence. As I lie sleeping on my bed, the blurry dreams in my head suddenly became very clear and seemed very real. I was moving upwards in a sort of dark tunnel. The walls of this tunnel were made of pulsating energy - it was very high energy that the physical world could not possibly contian. There was a sound in the tunnel - it sounded like a rushing wind, though not extremely loud. I heard a voice speaking inside my head and I was able to talk back to this voice - it was complete telepathic communication. I knew instantly that it was God's voice and there was no doubt or reservation in my mind. After our conversation, I left the tunnel in an instant and was back in my physical body on my bed. I breathed in a lung-full of air, as if coming up from underwater. After I got up from my bed, I called my brother on the phone. He had been, let's say, not going down the right road in life. I discovered that was part of my purpose.
The other NDE was much shorter - only lasted about 5 seconds. I regretably share with you that I have a unknown medical condition that causes me to occasionally have physically-imobilizing seizures. These seizures can last up to 6 hours before I feel any strength in my body again. The worst seizure I had lasted for 12 straight hours, and at one particular point I felt a very strange painful pulling from my chest. It felt oddly like my life was being pulled away, and somehow I knew that was what it was. I spoke in my head "Oh God, oh God, oh Jesus". One second, I was staring at the ceiling above where I layed. The next second, I was sorta floating in the room that I was in. Moving around, I found that I was able to move through things, similar to if you move around a map in Gmod using noclip. I felt very calm and serene. This only lasted about 5 seconds, and then I was back in my body staring at the ceiling again.
In case you're wondering, my religious choice is Christian. I've told a number of pastors, family members, friends, and psychologists about these experiences. Only a few friends and the psychologists believed me.
I hope we somehow exist in our own reality like a sandbox (not literally a box of sand) but a world where we can do what ever we wish.
The whole heaven thing hopefully.
If not, eternal nothingness or the whole energy dispersal thing you guys are talking about.
we just rot in the ground
