Mcguffin, this is a thread about what people think happens after death. There are no wrong answers, because they cannot be tested. I also suggest that you stay awake for 24 hours and try to explain something. If the brain wants to rest its going to make you go to sleep one way or the other. The first being you go to sleep the second being it knocking you out because it needs it. Until you go to sleep the brain keeps working slower untill your knocked out.
I was up for 24 hours at the time.

Damnit, how can I be angry at you if you agree with me?
Look, there's this endless void, where it's neither dark or bright, there is nothing; Not even you.
That's basically it.

You attach too much description to nothing. Even a void implies something.
I think you will get another life.. (Reincarnate)
Although we got ours now, why shouldn't we could get it again?
Just my thoughts.
*SORRY FOR BAD SPELLING*
I figure death is just nothingness, no feeling, thought, boredom. It's just nothing.
Blank white no exeptions.
It's like pressing the reset button. first it's all dark. your dazed and confused. you cant remember a thing, even how to think or talk! Next thing ya know, your in a hopspital with a new lease on life for better or worse.
Am I the first to get this idea on this forum?
I think, that maybe we get reincarnated in the future but have no memory of a past life.
Or it's just nothing.
death may be alot like having to listen to St. anger over and over and over and over. And you cant turn it off.
too bad there's only one agree button
I'm not Hindu, but the idea of reincarnation seems like a sound theory. If that's what happens I'm coming back as a fucking peach.
I think its like blacking out but never waking up.
I'm a Christian, so I believe I'll go to Purgatory (Heaven) or Hell.
I think I will be touched by the flying spaghetti monster's noodly appendage in my last remaining moments.
Then I'll be dead, as some others have said, the end of my biological self.
If death is anything like the people who have posted in this thread suggest, I will see to it that I live forever.
Edit: Unless you people have died and been resuscitated you look really stupid arguing with each other.
About 12 seconds before your death, your brain releases a chemical that floods your body with a sense of euphoria, this chemical is actually used as a drug, and is closely related to the adrenaline gland.
Your brain shuts down due to lack of oxygen and blood as your heart stops, time and space as you know it ceases to exist. Nothing, not even blackness, nothing.
I can't wait.
I will be reincarnated into a vagina.
I will be reincarnated into a vagina.
I feel so sorry for you.
I feel so sorry for you.
Yeah didn't really think that one through.
im sure you just meet god maybe Jesus. Or if you were bad you meet the devil. Ill probably go to hell cos i watched this pr0n 1 time
Death followed by a certain "nothing" sounds scary.
I hope to God that he is real.
He is real my family told me
You die. You don't know what happens because no part of you is left alive to contemplate what the fuck is going on.
The whole "Nothing" thing is hard to comprehend.
It is not black, because you are dead and you do not understand what black is.
It is not like sleeping, you don't dream, think, etc.
Just nothing, forever.
Well anyway, I am Christian so lol.
Pretty much, a hell-type death for me is just having to spend eternity in an infinite blank room, and everything is white everywhere, with nothing different anywhere.
A purgatory-type death for me would be like having the day of my death repeat over and over, a la [u]Groundhog Day. The only way you could advance to a heaven stage would be to live a day where you were completely perfect.
A heaven-type death for me would simply be where you meet everyone who was died before you (yes, everyone), starting with the first humans (the Creation Story is actually a myth, it's 95% fiction, so it really wasn't 7 days or Adam and Eve), and progressing to the person who died last before you. This would happen simultaneously, but in fact to you it would seem to be real time. then, after meeting all those people, you talk to everyone else, which would eventually end up with you knowing every single human who ever has, does, or will live. once time ends, I'd say the whole process starts over, with God starting the creation of the universe again, and humans (or possibly some other life form) would rise to the dominant species of a planet and come to created a religion based upon what Christianity is based upon.
Also, :words:.
