When you die, you go to heaven, hell, or purgatory. Duh.
Well I would love to be a ghost after I die and retain my memorys and conscience.....but I am being toldy otherwise by all my athiest friends lol
Well, what if we are already dead but we just don't know it. Cause i forget who said it that our brain can make a second last for an eternity. I mean think about it. That or we are just in a simulation of some other beings mind or computer and when we die we just go to another part of the simulations level so to speak. I mean it's completly up for grabs as to what can happen.
This has always been a strange topic to me. See, I've always imagined death as non-being, and lack of awareness. However, it's not possible to imagine non-being. I suppose the best way I've ever thought of it as would be simply ending. "You" wouldn't feel anything, think anything, or see anything; in fact, you'd most likely never be able to "tell" you've died. Kinda depressing.
u go to hell, because God hates you for spending so much time on facepunch [editline]10:20PM[/editline] unless your a dog
The whole "Nothing" thing is hard to comprehend. It is not black, because you are dead and you do not understand what black is. It is not like sleeping, you don't dream, think, etc. Just nothing, forever. Well anyway, I am Christian so lol.
This is why I think that there is something beyond death. You can say heaven or hell, but there is something. I just can't believe that it simply goes blank and there is literally nothing more, literally no more feeling no more thinking. Just nil.
I'm not afraid of death, why should I be? As long as it's not a painful death.
The only thing that I fear about death is the thought that maybe there really is nothing after you die, for all eternity...
I will go to heaven (if God deems me worthy).
Death is the end of your biological self. You simply cease to exist. It's how it was before you were born.
Also, I'll cease to exist.
Maybe were looking at all our past memories right now, and were dieing right now say 60 years from now, but time is going slow in our memories letting us live our lives. Does that make sense?
actually, that does sound like an interesting theorie. i have thought the same exact thing before.
I will go to heaven (if God deems me worthy).
ur only worthy if u hav no sins, so ask Jesus for forgiveness of sins via his sacrifice on the cross
I'm going to heaven. I am 100% sure of this.
"Nothing in the universe is ever wasted, only transformed..." Quote: An old friend of mine!
I'm going to heaven. I am 100% sure of this.
You're going to hell. I am 101% sure of this.
I would like to believe that the good get rewarded and the evil get punished when they die. I would love to believe that we meet a loving creator. I really would. But I don't. I believe everything just goes dark, as the last pulses of consciousness leaves our body. That's why I believe we have to live life to it's fullest here, because we only get to go around once.
I often hope that there is an afterlife, and I can live in peace forever with everyone. However, my brain just can't except this, I'm going to die and that's it. Also, just what is that tunnel of light people describe when they die and come back alive?
If youd really like to know what death is like, go to a hospital and have them put you under anesthetics. Your ears will make this hum noise as they inject them, your eyes go blurry, and then thats it, next thing you know the doctors are waking you up. Only in death you never wake up.
I got under that shit twice I never felt that And when I wake up I wonder at which second I went unconscious Basically it's like I do an INSTANT jump towards the reanimation room, where everything fades in from black.
I think it will be just nothing. As said in the OP, the end of my biological self. Sounds boring yes, but it's what makes most sense to me.
Death is something that is incomprehensible.
Also, I passed out when I was 7 or 8 due to breathing too fast while playing trumpet. I can still see myself falling while holding the instrument, and there goes something interesting: my dad slapped me, so as to try to wake me up. However, I felt the slap on my face as I was falling! After that, it instantly jumped to me in my bed. So, isn't it like your brain basically keeps track of your last image until it receive get stuff again? Hence the instant jumps towards the endings of anesthesia and unconsciousness status.
A gigantic number 42 appears in your vision then fades into the distance as you die.
its the first option, IMHO.
The Valkyrie's fly you to Valhalla
We go to hell and get raped by the devil....for eternity.......this is why I'm athiest now...... "Hey belive in god and you will go to heaven and if you go to church every sunday for the rest of your lives and follow what a simple book tells you and if you don't do so....you will go to hell...and if you don't believe in god.....you go to hell" I don't think thats right don't you?
Jesus Camp is a perfect place to brainwash yourself to false happiness.
When I die, I will die of course". I beleive in death, i will be anoyed throughout eternety with incorheirent bable,"I here it's when the Famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with he tuneing fork does a raw blink on hari-kari rock, I need scissors 61." Much like this quote mentioned by the Cornel in metal gear. However one thing is certain that NOBODY dies with dignity, we all crap our selvs in the end.
ur all going to hell motherfuckers, and ill be laughing my ass off at you from the top of that hole between heaven and hell
