ur all going to hell motherfuckers, and ill be laughing my ass off at you from the top of that hole between heaven and hell
The top of a hole, that is inbetween Heaven and hell O_O, whoa thats deep. You must be powerful indeed to splice the realities of heaven in hell sooooo much that you can actually be inbetween and ontop, at the same time. XD
After death, there is this magical spirit elf that takes you to Willy Wonka's factory. If you are a bad person, he dunks you in the boiling hot chocolate. If you are a good person, you get to be a cannibal and eat them... covered in chocolate. A+++ Edit:
ur all going to hell motherfuckers, and ill be laughing my ass off at you from the top of that hole between heaven and hell
Not everybody believes in the Bible. Not everybody is religious, either. Don't be like those annoying Christians that force religion down people's throats.
If death is anything like the people who have posted in this thread suggest, I will see to it that I live forever.
What's wrong with going for round 2? :[
Well, if I want to be playful about it, I'd be a badass ghost. If I'm serious about it, I will go to Heaven or hell depending on how I acted in life.
What's wrong with going for round 2? :[
A few things. One, that eventually the universe will end and you'll be dead anyway, and two, BRAINS DON'T WORK LIKE THAT GODDAMN.
I have a rather zany way of thinking about it. [Bear with me on this.] We all must have some sort of purpose here, and we all serve to do something in life, even if we don't see it. As crazy as it sounds, maybe our planet is just a training-ground of some sort? We can live one life or several but the memories and collective knowledge we've gained will be put to some use; maybe we become gods or something for different universes and that Universe is directly influenced by those memories and what happened to us in our lives. We can be vengeful or loving. Maybe the reason we don't see God on a daily basis is because he wants us to forge our own set of ideals before we take a position somewhere in the stars? It sure beats being in a dreamless state or having nothing, though.
You could Michael what it's like.
I don't think death is really the end but maybe you exist in another state of conciseness or some uncomprehending form. It would be really boring though just being a ghost and watch for eternity as humans progress and you can only but watch.
Yeah, it would be like spectating in counter strike. But you could watch porn all day! But seriously, I'm not sure what might happen, but I will hope to find out in 80 years
For those of you without clear minds, let me provide my opinion. The brain is simply a series of electrical impulses. When our heart stops, the supply of oxygen is cut off and the brain can no longer function. Those electrical impulses stop firing and our consciousness ceases to exist.
I think most people like to think that our 'souls' live on in heaven, because most people can't accept the fact that we will completely cease to exist some day. To me it's very hard to think about, we were nothing before we were born, and it will happen again. Is it possible to say that we COULD 'live' again.. but we just won't remember it?
I really have no clue, But i guess it would be all black. Tough isn't there someone who has been dead for a couple of seconds who can tall what he/sha saw?
Actually, there are a couple of books that I would like to purchase telling a true story of how this lady did die and was revived. Same goes for another person in another book. Not only for a couple of seconds but for nearly 45 minutes I believe.
Well you die...... Then nothing. Not even darkness for there is no body to tell what darkness is. So when you die your mind is gone and memories will then lie with the others who knew you.

I'd like to make this a response to not only this post but the rest. Where did matter come from? Explain this. It couldn't be here but for the one explanation and that being a divine being. The second thing I would like to bring to the attention of anyone reading is that if we were just made of matter, or charged electrons and/or protons, or any physical object, we could not possibly be conscious (think or whatever you want to think of it as).
Where did the 'divine being' come from? If matter can't appear out of nowhere.. what makes you think a divine being can?
A divine being can break any physical law of which we are aware of, (i.e. control of time/space)

In the perfect world I wouldn't die and we'd all live happily ever after.

You don't need a weather man to know what way the wind is blowing
You don't need a weather man to know what way the wind is blowing
That's a horrible analogy.
Realism Theory: Nothing but pure darkness. An infinite vortex of pure nothingness. No thoughts or anything. Idealistic Theory: The well-known, sought after, legendary place called Heaven. Nothing but pure joy. A place that doesn't compare to Earth one bit. It's so great in Heaven, it's just surreal.
That's a horrible analogy.
explain how so
explain how so
You can physically feel the wind against you, of course you can tell which direction it is blowning in. Likewise can't be said for you claiming to know what defines life or thought. Then you have the whole "if God created matter where did God come from?" and don't say that he always existed or we don't know because the exact same thing can be said for Matter then.
I really do hope that there's something after death. I hope that there's some sort of heaven, I hope that there's some sort of mass hallucinogen for me after death. But something in the back of my mind says no. Every time I think about death, I don't get scared. I get sad. I get sad because I know that nothing I ever do will give me an after life. I believe there's no god that checks your moral compass and says "Well, you did good, welcome to heaven." If I could have one wish...it would be for the Christian god to exist and for everything about christianity to be true. I used to be a firm believer in Christianity...very familiar with the bible and all that, but one day I woke up and just started questioning people about it. Now I know this sounds silly, but I started trying to "sell" my soul to the devil. I looked up satanic rituals, all that stupid shit. Nothing appeared, no one talked to me, I didn't feel cold, nothing. That was the day I declared myself athiest-agnostic.

I mean I'm not an expert, however I believe myself to be highly educated on the issue. My point it that it doesn't take an expert to know the obvious. All physics have laws, therefore for something to have come into existence, something would have broken the laws.
No reborn, it's just like fainting and not waking up. You're going to get bored.
Like having sex with YOUR MOTHER. When you feel the moment approaching you feel scared and unwilling, than you resign yourself to the fact and than afterward you feel numb and dissatisfied.
That my friend, is the best answer tbh
You have a football player as an avatar and are an '09er. I would have expected an answer like that.
