Another mad-cap idea is that when you die, you begin a new life as a foetus in the womb, starting a new life, with a new family. You have no knowledge of your previous lives, just a neverending cycle.
Exactly what I thought one night. I was asleep and I recall this dream I had where, I had died, and then become reborn into a new human. The only thing is I remembered my past life and realized that when I died I came to live again as a new person. Then I went into some thing where i could live any life I want and fuck it up how I want to, die and then become born again. Like a fresh start basically. But silly dreams aside, whatever happens, happens.
i think that when i die i turn into chuck norris and kill everyone on the planet with my new gigantic dick and dont you dare disagre kus its may OPIONION [editline]12:53AM[/editline]
I some how fear it,so I decided to get my self frozen (at 40-50 years age), until humanity discovers a (as dumb as it sounds)"life extendor" thing. If you don't and can't have any recollection of your previous life, why not just not ever be reincarnated at all? The experience would be exactly the same. This also leads into problems with evolution, and the basic concept of time. [editline]12:56AM[/editline]
Death is an illusion, it's merely a transitional step from randomly organized matter to non-organized matter in the perpetual motion of fundamental forces that is the universe. Perpetual motion, by definition, is the time period where endless of events can occur, and therefore allowing the reforming of your current matter, into a new form of consciousness in the future.
Jesus H. Christ, I didn't think you could fit so many buzz words and new age bullshit concepts into one posts. You have truly shocked me.
This thread is a brain crasher. Im an Atheist like 85% in my country. [editline]02:35AM[/editline] You wake up 4 days after being dead and is locked in a coffin.
Fuck it, I believe your a ghost. I exited my shower, and I find my faucet was on in the same bathroom. There wasn't enough water in the sink for it to be on before I entered the shower, and I can guarantee that I didn't turn it on myself. It's either that, or my imaginary friend turned it on, darn you, Mikey :argh:.
Jesus H. Christ, I didn't think you could fit so many buzz words and new age bullshit concepts into one posts. You have truly shocked me.
Unfortunately for me, your post didn't surprise me at all. When science is brought up in some subject or another, there's always a Mr Generally Displeased or Mr Narrow-Minded around, or in your case, a hybrid of both. May I be so bold to suggest you to find any word in my post, that's not referring to proven science. Buzz words are new coined phrases or words with still unclear meaning, my post contained words used in today's science which needs to be very clear. So by knowing these two facts, it is obviously established you didn't even bother to look up a single word in a dictionary to verify your statement. I'm still trying to figure out how you managed to confuse the spiritual movement of new age with today's understanding of the universe. You used your current range of vocabulary as a primary standing point towards my post, which made it clear you didn't understand at all by incorrectly referring to my text as buzz words, and then you confuse the basic concepts of matter, perpetual motion and the universe's fundamental laws with "spirituality bullshit". It's also strange since you wrote "new age bullshit", obviously displaying a discontent about new age thinking, but yet you directed it at science which is almost the exact opposite. I could go on. Don't make an assertion before you know what it's directed at. It only shows you're trying to be someone you're not.
Death is like getting out of one car and into another. (I think John Lennon said that?) Anyway, I'm looking forward to living an eternal life.
You guys are all retarded. There is no death.
My mama always said that death is like McDonalds. It doesn't matter what you order because they will always fuck you over and give you the 6 piece chicken nuggets instead of the 10 piece. :argh:
Death will be just like before you were born. You were nonexistent and will again become nonexistent. You didn't come from anywhere, and you're not going anywhere.

As for the scientific validity of your post, one, death isn't an illusion as an illusion is the practice of making something seem like what it's not, meaning you don't know what the word illusion means. Second, there's no such thing as organized matter and not organized matter, simply formations which constitute everything that exists. Third, you were trying to imply some strange form of reincarnation that doesn't take into account heat death or what consciousness actually is. So yes, I was entirely justified. You used words you didn't know what meant and spelled out ideas that were either inconsistent or simply nonsensical. How about them apples.
Logically I can assume there's no form of existence as my brain has shut down. I'm not going to care about it when I'm dead though, so I try not to worry too much. Enjoy life while you can.

Your logic suggests you're using the average person as a template factor, I have a natural high production of dopamine in my brain which role is memory and learning. Why haven't you considered the possibility that perhaps your mind just lack the ability to apply my theory in a coherent form? Google's definition of death, is departure from life, and my logic following the first post is that you never actually depart from life. Therefore my usage was correct. Also proving you were the one not understanding. Did you notice the word "randomly" put before the word organized? Google's definition of organized: Formed into a structured or coherent whole. What is evolution, if not the random appearance of seemingly coherent and structured matter? Therefore, my usage according to the English language, was correct. Again, you where the one who didn't understand. To me, consciousness is the cooperation of matter in a way that gives the illusion of individual choices. In other words, our brains. Heat death is not relevant, my argument regarding this is to this thread, neither. If you want me to reformulate my theory to a lower level of vocabulary, just say so.

And nice God complex. Google is a search engine. What the fuck are you talking about? And, no, it wasn't. Becoming inanimate is not an illusion. Perhaps you should have asked Google what illusion meant too. You were referring to a non existent "organized matter". That is not a real term. You made it up. That's my point. So you're saying consciousness really doesn't exist? You know how I know you don't really speak like this? Because someone with a large vocabulary refers to things more specifically the more words they know. You simply use the longest, and in some cases vaguest words to spell out what you're saying.
I get seventy two virgins.
why would you want to pass the rest of your afterlife with 72 bitches who doesn't know how to have sex and give you blowjob and bleed have..ARRGGGGG!!
Maybe, you know how people say there is a bright light when they die? When there is birth, it's the same thing, darkness then tah dah your born, think of this, When you die, you see a light, you go through ....guess what! your a new born that has no fucking idea what happened

Obviously you did not apprehend since you continue to insist on reading my expressed vocabulary in your own way just leading yourself into more and more misunderstandings. This makes your judgement of my intentions impaired, that's the whole point. Google has a dictionary search function... Becoming inanimate is not relevant to the slightly modified version of the word life as I accidentally picked up through this thread. I thought of the word life as in the afterlife of death, and yes, that was officially wrong, what I meant was consciousness. How did I make up that term, if I, according to you, were not the one who wrote the original post? I did not refer to it as a term, I was improvising an appropriate constellation of two words which I thought people would understand. It's called using the language, like putting together "a car" without making it a term. Consciousness is the experience of choices. Life is the illusion of choices. How would you explain the behavior of me proposing another formulate of my theory, if I don't understand it?

Another tip to your using a thesaurus is your poor grammar. See if you can spot where you switched tense mid sentence. Hell, see if you can spot where your post was even legible, that's a real challenge. No, "a car" is not similar to "organized matter". A better example would be "Clean car" and "Dirty car", of course the comparison is flawed in that cars are not states of being, which is what you were implying. Unless of course you can't write worth a damn, which should be obvious to even you by now. So now consciousness is an experience? Even that makes no sense, experience implies one is conscious, and how can one be conscious if consciousness is an experience itself? Once again, you show you have no idea how the words you are using are to be used. And the word is reword, not reformulate. Reformulate implies revision, what you are suggesting is simply restating the same flawed idea with new diction.
Oh God, I hope Watchmaker is a troll.
Probably. But I like being angry. So I guess that makes it symbiotic or something.

In the context of language, which was the general relevance of my example used, "a car" is similar to "organized matter" since both is words used in language. Furthermore I wrote a constellation of two words, not anything else. What is the point of even arguing if you don't care about anything I say? My theory is not flawed. It appears your learning ability is limited to the dependence on your opinion on the structure of text in question. Experience is the processing of external information, consciousness is the processing of experience to create choice. Ah, reformulate is close to reword in Swedish, so I thought it was worth a shot.
I dreamed of death once. I was shot by a sniper (a real "sniper" not the TF2 guy) while jumping in a pool. I felt nothing but numbness, I was paralyzed and started fading into the deep pool. Then I woke up.

I do care about what you say, mainly that it makes so fucking sense whatsoever. They're similar because they're both words? "I wrote a constellation of two words, not anything else"? This is simply illegible. My learning ability is limited to my dependence on my opinion on the text? The fuck? No, an experience is an event. If you want to argue that I can't understand you because of some fault on my part you have to actually know the fucking definition of the words you're using. Really, your idea is just a stupid form of reincarnation, just even more nonsensical. So what if the matter that makes up your body might possibly somehow be used in the creation of another cognitive being? It wouldn't be you any more than a robot made out of cut up pieces of RAM is a computer. [editline]07:01AM[/editline]
I dreamed of death once. I'm dropping this since my brain apparently was not designed to have this level of social interaction, it seems I'm learning words faster than I can express them properly. Have a good one.

I think it will be like a dream; but with nothing influencing it. With you not knowing anything that happened before it.

I think everything will just go black, like you are sleeping.
