It'd be your own personal heaven or hell, sort of like a lucid dream.
That would require a working brain.
When you're dead, your brain stops working.
You have no sense of anything, including yourself. You feel nothing.
[sp]Also notice how I could have insulted you, if I was an asshole. It would've been uncalled for and mean, but with my post there was a possibility of insulting you. [/sp]
Death is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
Death is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
More like a box of chocolates with only taxes in it, you don't get anything, you get stuff taken away.
You go to a big white room, a person gives you soup when you drink/eat it you will forget everything about your life and will be born as something, human or animal.
Now you might be thinking What!?
But it's true, I didn't drink it thus I know!
I like the idea of infinite dream with nothing in it.
This is a topic that really bugs me. I've actually been toying with the idea of killing myself to find out, but i have been thinking that's a bad idea, because i'm pretty happy with life, and i don't know what happens when i die. So i'm pretty stuffed if i don't like it.
I will wake up.
I will see whole my life as a small story, the same way you look at book after you read it to end. When you read a book, the story also looks very real to you. I am awaiting that we will experience this after end of our lives.
Our "life" is an illusion.
The universe is an illusion.
Most of people are just so dedicated to the illusion, that they make themselves sure it is real.

Don't waste your life doing that, if you killed yourself, you wouldn't be any closer to finding out what it's like to be dead than someone who is alive. It's impossible to fathom ceasing to exist, and people who have ceased to exist don't have the capacity to think about death, due to them being dead, afterall :D

Cool theory.
Alternatively, something we can't comprehend might happen.

But if you didn't drink it, how come you can post it here? If you didn't drink, then you are dead, and you haven't reincarnated, so you'd be stuck in that room. The only way to get out would be drinking and thus forgetting everything.
It's not particularly funny or witty.
Yeah, it isn't meant to be.
That's exactly what death is like.
You die, you're dead. That's fucking it.
Decomposing might be fun
Also, on a note.
GHOSTS.
There are two possibilities to ghosts.
1. They don't exist. They're a figment of people's imaginations running wild. However, things moving without being touched can also be explained. Ninjae.
2. They exist in the form of energy, or more correctly, coherently wasted, at the time unusuable energy. This is possible by the realms of science but it's also skeptical.
I think when you die, you just keep living but yo ucan do all kinda cool things like fly, explore galaxy or just eat and not getting fatter. This is my opinion and i dont care what you say about this
I think it is either:
The electricity in your brain disperses, therefore everything ends, but you won't even notice it.
Or
The electricity in your brain disperses, but in that last moment you immagine yourself something else or somewhere else, and since our brain can make one second seem endless to us, we remain there forever (at least that is what we think, in reality not even one second).
I believe the first one.
Edit: Also we won't really "end" since we are the electricity in our brains (neurons and electrical charges are our toughts) we "disperse" and mix with other stuff, so we don't end, but for our consciousness it's more or less the same thing.
What if you die in space?

I feel that way sometimes, like im gonna wake up suddenly and everything was a dream.
Sigh.
Nothing. Yes, it is incomprehensible. In the same way, blindness is incomprehensible to a seeing man (who was never blind). However, in the same way blind people don't just see black by default, neither do dead people. Dead people don't see anything.
'Tis an endless debate what one sees after death.
A true mystery, interesting though.
I guess that, since your brain stops working and all, there won't be anything. Not like complete blackness, since that's percieved as well. Not even nothing?
It's not like you're going to know you're dead, anyway.
I think it'd be all like when your body dies your energy gets released and you're all like "all yeah I'm energy lets go do some energy things" and you go and do energy things, nomesayin?

Exactly. I'm pretty sure it would just be the same as before you were born.
I don't think death is really the end but maybe you exist in another state of conciseness or some uncomprehending form. It would be really boring though just being a ghost and watch for eternity as humans progress and you can only but watch.
You can still watch TV :v:
When your heart stops and your lungs stop, your eye sight starts to fade, you go blind and deaf.
Only you can still think and then, THIS POPS UP FOR ALL ETERNITY!

What? It's more believable than going to some retarded white place in a magical golden kingdom where all your dreams come true.
I think dying is like sleeping without dreams. Or I could be wrong and we are reborn as the same person doing the same things.
The hell are you fucking talking about? Brain cells die hours after death if that. Background radiation? So you're saying microwaves collect our brain "energy"(whatever the fuck that is) and somehow through magic transport it to another plain of existence? The hell are you smoking?
Background radiation is microwaves. This isn't some great ethereal energy, this is the stuff that fucking cooks your corn dogs. Ley lines? Holy fuck man, are you just juxtaposing every stupid as shit new age piece of crap in the world over each other?
And then when they reach these lay lines, they do scary things like making things cold! Woooo!
Or if the people there are sufficiently desperate to see a ghost.
Usually things that don't exist are hard to find. That's not because they're incorporeal entities, it's because they don't fucking exist. Hard to understand? Big talk from someone who doesn't even fucking know what background radiation actually is.
I bet you don't even fucking know what energy is either. Goddamnit, learn your shit.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck goddamn shit ass fuck what the hell shit fuck
remember kids, cussing makes you look cool :downs:
I used to believe that you go to heaven and you just tell Jesus to give you a HD tv and he does it. Heaven.
I used to believe that you go to heaven and you just tell Jesus to give you a HD tv and he does it. Heaven.
To bad nothing good will be on TV.
