On Topic: I hope the Chinese are shown as competent and successful fighters, and the only reason the guerrillas defeat them is battle is through ambushes and surprise (using their skills as hunters). I also hope they use cool immobilization tactics like jamming a cinder-block in the tracks of a Type-96. Or using improvised weapons like nailbombs to stun and injure infantry before attacking with firearms.
I have no idea how this movie is supposed to turn out, but given the nature of recent films I'm going to say the Chinese win.
