As a general tip, never use asian emoticons such as ">.<" on Facepunch. I'm not sure if people take too kindly to phrases such as "FTW" here either. Also, little retorts such as "I'm 12? uh-huh! Your a joke haha!" can kill your reputation here instantly.
Try lurking (browse the forums without posting) a bit more for a while, and learn the posting style.
Then, once you know what mannerisms are appropriate for the site, try posting with what you learned while Lurking.

Good work is meh to comment on because it's good so you either gotta give some good input or just resort to "love it" kind of comments.
