This was clearly more angel than icarus though.
They seem to be using Icarus and angel themes interchangeably. Which makes sense since Icarus was somewhat of an artificial angel, just as Jenson is being portrayed.
as someone who has never played these games i just went and bought them all to play it so i can be prepared for this
Is there any actual info about the game? All I see is yet another cinematic trailer. I liked HR tho, I don't think this one will be bad or anything it's just useless to get hyped up about not-gameplay

Well it isn't useless to get hyped at non-gameplay at all because from the trailer we know:
Jensen is still the protagonist and that the game is taking a very similar stance as it did with HR and that's enough to get some of us hyped, me included.
Damn Jensen when did you become a bigger badass. I am so excited.

they gave him balls of steel. he never asked for them

70% of his body is augmented I'd be surprised if his reproductive system even worked.

I know your sins.
Is the part of the trailer where Adam is floating in water a reference to Ghost in the Shell?

Yeah probably the only way he's gonna have kids at this point is by cloning

I feel like yellow guy is a Jensen clone. Younger, but a clone.

He certainly has the chin for it but nah I doubt it
Holy shit!
My hype is augmented
[editline]9th April 2015[/editline]
That is the BEST trailer I have EVER seen for a game
The hype is real
Dear god do I hope they have an extended version of this trailer lined up like they did for DX:HR's.
He certainly has the chin for it but nah I doubt it
It's been implied that Jensen gets cloned later anyway, I don't think it's too far fetched
It's been implied that Jensen gets cloned later anyway, I don't think it's too far fetched
I doubt they'd throw Jensens genes around willy nilly like that. Given how many wrenches he threw in the machinery, his genes and his abilities are desired, not to mention not needing neuropozyne.
He's just a kid in a trailer to illustrate the actions have consequences thing. Adam saved him from an attack and he went on to join the extremists and bomb a bus.
If I bought HR a while ago, would it have been automatically upgraded to extended edition? I want to go finish it, but I don't want to play without the extra content.
wait wait wait is that supposed to be gunther in the trailer
wait wait wait is that supposed to be gunther in the trailer
We've already seen Gunther in a side-story book, and this guy has a rather distinctly Russian accent in a stereotypical fashion, compared to the very German-style accent Gunther has.
Going to miss Sarif, he was a really nice character.
You know what I really liked about David Sarif?
He's probably the only corporate CEO in cyberpunk history that doesn't play on the stereotypical "corrupt corporate executive" trope. If his replacement is literally the archetype cyberpunk CEO I will be very disappointed.

Unless one didn't like him for the backdoor stuff or just hates corporate executives altogether, he's pretty much one hell of a likable and affiable fellow that doesn't actually even have evil on his agenda, just shifty stuff he's forced to do to prevent Tai-Yong or MJ12 from royally fucking up his company.
Since we're in a sort of law enforcement organization to a degree rather than just another corporate structure, I have no doubt there'll be corruption but we'll just have to see if our allies and higher-up(s) are memorable again. It's the same dev team so the writing shouldn't be radically off the mark.

"AAAHHDAM!" I really liked Sarif as a character, shame he won't be here this time around.

[sp]Considering the ending where Adam blows up Panchea seems to be canon then probably.[/sp]
