[sp]Considering the ending where Adam blows up Panchea seems to be canon then probably.[/sp]
They've stated they're trying to tie all the endings together in some way.
funny enough, [sp] wasn't Sariff and the other survivors with him hiding out in a room with submarines?[/sp]
They've stated they're trying to tie all the endings together in some way.
What I gathered from this is that Adam had some kind of freaky reaction with his augments and spazticly hit every button in the control room. :v:
Human Revolution's trailer was my all time favourite game trailer, and they managed to outdo themselves with this one. The entire thing had me on edge, especially when Jensen starts killing all those dudes to that icarus-y part of the song near the end. I need this right now.

Sorta confusing to me [sp]Didn't Adam die at the end of HR? how the fuck is he alive in this one...?[/sp] At any rate, looks pretty awesome, much hype

One really cool moment in the original HR trailer was when Adam spreads out his fingers, grabs a dude by the head, and spins him around. I hope the melee in this game is improved (man oh man, the fight in the MD trailer is awesome) or reworked to avoid the whole one punch = one candy bar cutscene KOs from HR.
That said. The Takedowns were very satisfying!
[sp]It wouldn't make sense to have Sarif, Taggart, or anyone else in this installment because you can literally shoot either of them on Panchea if you fancy.[/sp]
was that some nano augmentation at the end?
Didn't David Sarif's VA go insane or something I recall a video of him saying there are legitimately spy cameras hidden in flies and rambling about some other conspiracy nonsense. [editline]10th April 2015[/editline] Nevermind, he was joking.

He's an... interesting individual. And, for good measure, another Sarif video (and the crazier followup)

I wonder what leads to augmented humans getting treated like shit. Augmentations are for rich people not just anyone who wants them
I wonder what leads to augmented humans getting treated like shit. Augmentations are for rich people not just anyone who wants them
A lot of people got augs because they lost limbs in accidents, and then they have a hard time paying for neuropozyne which is implied to be incredibly expensive. Then there are the gangs who illegally augment their members and people who get mods for their jobs. If it's something people want they'll get it. They'll get loans, they'll go to shady people. As for people being treated like shit, it's because of people who believe that becoming augmented means giving up your humanity. Then they see gang members on the news with robotic limbs, hear about augmented terrorists, augments must be bad. Even the names of the groups holds true to this, Purity First, they believe augmentation to be corrupting.
I wonder what leads to augmented humans getting treated like shit. Augmentations are for rich people not just anyone who wants them
Panchea event most likely caused it, considering how everyone with augs went batshit crazy during that.
I have to replay DXHR just because I can't remember half of what happened. We also will probably be getting a new Fallout or Elder scrolls. Seems like next year will be the year of the RPG
Panchea event most likely caused it, considering how everyone with augs went batshit crazy during that.
Spoilers below, even though the person I'm quoting also spoiled. Imagine if Steve Jobs was doing a presentation to the entire world about an iPhone update that would revolutionize society, and then when it was released it took control of everyone who owned the phone for a day and made them go absolutely insane/aggressive. Rational thought aside if you saw someone get torn apart in the street by some iPhone users you'd probably be completely distrustful of them for the rest of your life after that event even if they were sane afterwards. Doesn't help that those iPhones might also be able to turn into guns or giant knives.
Re-installed DX:HR in the hopes of finishing it. No can do. Near the 23 hour mark I got some horrible stuttering anytime when zooming in. And the problem still persists.
Is it the original or Director's Cut version by chance?
The original.
Also his vest was on point. [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/deusex/images/c/cd/DX3_David_Sarif_2.jpg/revision/20141026103725?path-prefix=en[/t]
With all the endearingly hamfisted imagery how did I not realized that Sarif's design evoked "good man" when he's dressed like a fucking priest, complete with white collar. I mean, sure, I was expecting him to turn out to be a douchebag backstabber the entire time but still, it's right fucking there! I'm gonna miss that bastard, along with malik.
Saw the trailer for the first time, my god that was pretty incredible. Also interestingly, the music doesn't just reference the DX:HR theme, but it also quotes Jaron Namir's boss music in DX:HR as well. That theme always gets me. [editline]edit[/editline] Namir's theme starts at the part with the Illuminati Skype call :v:
