We tried to buy car spray paint for my friends van the other night from walmart and they wouldn't let us buy it, which really surprised me because its pretty much only good with cars. So we told the lady that wouldn't sell it to us that we were just going to come back with someone 18. Then we went and found some stoned black guy in Walmart who bought it.
You guys should make sure to get different kinds of caps.
I actually have a sticker of that Bob Ross design on the rear drivers side window of my car. (the one that doesn't roll down)
Did my first real spray paint tag today, it went pretty well but I could've done better with more time and a better wall. The original paint was flaking so I had to rip most of it off before i could even start. As far as first tag thought it was pretty cool.
Montana gold spray paint is FUCKING GREAT. I sprayed the blue for the first time with the fat cap and it applied and looked so ridiculously good. It sprays out sooo slow too so it applies perfectly and even. If you have the money for it and you want a matte finish, get Montana Gold.
I'm gonna order 18 packs of Molotow from Bombingscience and split the price with my friends. It isn't as good as Montana but at 6.3$ with express shipping that's fine with me.

This piece brought about more security and patrol staff for this usually unsafe apartment complex my girlfriend currently resides in. :tinfoil:
I'm thinking of writing;
WARNING: WET PAINT
Everywhere.

I made a stencil with a friend who thought of a very similar idea: "CAUTION: WET PAINT".
Everywhere he put it got painted over within a week, ironically.
That No Face stencil is really cool, I like how you made it fade out like that, it's really creepy in there. My friend does a stencil of Xochipilli the Aztec god, I'll get a picture of it sometime.
We should all get some collab stuff done soon.

It really is fun. A girl did this one
I've been busy as fuck lately, but it should clear up a bit for me after this week, can't wait to get into our thing.

@ Shiban, I must say those stenciled letters look a bit dreadful, I advise using a ruler to draw them up and a bigger sheet of paper or whatever it was.

I know haha. They were hand drawn and cut with what little tools and materials that were available at the time.
I'm looking to start a new run again soon, which means a trip to the art supply warehouse :)
yeah a bigger sheet of whatever will help to make it so that paint doesn't get off the side. I was thinking about doing a whole project out of nothing but stencils and just piecing them all together on the wall. I'd need a good scene with lots of depth, like a landscape or something.
Somebody on twitter just posted that they had seen this. This is probably one of the greatest ideas ever.

i live in a small town, lots of places i could put up some art but I'm not the best artist, so it would be cool if people could post some good images i can print up and paste in places.
i did stencil 'Disco' on a couple of places once, it was a lot of fun.

You can use this:
(there's a small layer error I made at the legs though)

it will be a while till I can get my hands on some paint anyway
Hey I'm interested in joining the cause but I had a couple questions. I know the plan is views of the future from different perspectives and sort of futuristic-y with lots of colour and artistic flair but I was wondering about the slogans. I personally think we should either have on base slogan that we use like "city of colour" But that sounds to close to the band unless we are going to also have a small stencil with a link to the website. Because I love the message and I would be honoured to be a part of it it's just I don't follow how if we all have different slogans people will end p at the site. Just a thought and for fucks sake do you want me to mail you a 20$ bill for the site funding because that should be priority 1 right now. Also I'm very tired so if that sounded at all bossy or anything I didn't mean it to. I in no way want to be leader I think that should be Pascall and her boy toy.
There's no real leader, imo.
We really just have different people doing different jobs. I'm kind of unable to go out and do much field work, so organizing things is more of my forte at the moment. And Makol is working on the site.
And if you wanted to contribute to funding, then sure, why not.
As soon as I get enough money, I could buy the domain, but I'm broke so I do need some help.
Well Tinovac, first of all the idea was to use different phrases but the same URL, or just put the url nearby a piece even if it's independent and has nothing to do with any collaborative themes. Once a piece is clever/artistic/pretty/has been worked hard on, we support it being in the public domain. And as for the website being the priority, I would say getting our shit together and getting some work out there should come before acquiring the means to show people. I wouldn't be in any rush to spread the URL before we make some of our ideas HAPPEN. An idea is one thing, but we should be the ones to set an example of the kind of street work that we appreciate seeing.
I was running on fumes when I first read through this, but I just re read the whole conversation and I get it now. Also for funds, I don't have Paypal and I'm sure you probably wouldn't be comfortable giving your address out for mail, but if you do I can mail you twenty bucks.
I'm buying more paint tomorrow or sometime soon, and one of my friends just got a car so I'll be going out soon. Has anyone gotten anything done?

If you mean stencils that you can use, then I retoast:

All I see round here is shit that says 'west howe 4 lyfe'

Which drips and looks like childish scrawl
Uhh, long time no see thread. I'm starting a pasting project this weekend, it might be big. If anybody wants anything specific or relating to the website, I'm all in. Just tell me.

As for the hierarchy business, we are not a monarchy and we are not a democracy. We have a few "leaders" (Myself, Pascal, P!, Mako) who are actively involved with everything that the organization does and will do. We are basically the founders, but have no more say than any other respected member. If you have a problem we should be the first to hear about it, same goes for ideas, but don't feel like you are some kind of grunt. We are promoting freedom.
Agent we should work on some collab stuff soon, I'm getting better and better at fill in tagging. I'm probably going to be doing a live stream urbex thing for the urbex section, and I'll be doing a tag at the end.
I've switched around what I want to be my tag and finally decided on PQZ. The letters fit together the best and It flows much better than anything else I've come up with. Plus I like that my first name starts with a P and its like "p's and q's"

Yeah I want to get us collabing and everything I've just been so busy. We'll put something together in the steam group.
Alright cool. Damn just looked at the group for the first time in a while and we have 17 members.
For real. Going to have to have a forced meeting and find out who wants to be a part of us, and how devoted each member is willing to be. Since it's forced we'll have to have separate meetings to accommodate all timezones. Forced just means if you want in, you'll have to make it to one (which won't be hard considering we'll have a meeting for each member that wants to be a part of us).
Sounds good. I guess we could individually message everyone in it seeing as 17 really isn't that many.
Just a reminder, I'm free during the day on Wednesday, so I can be here for a nighttime meeting with ladies and gents from the US.
What time zone SkyDub? I`m pacific time, BC.
I think I'm on GMT+10.
